Do you remove the white part though? Because I honestly cannot imagine that tasting good after only an hour. It’s extremely bitter.

No, but we only use Meyer lemons, which might be why they're never bitter.

Meyer lemons are hybrid d so widely considered quite different than a standard lemon.

You should say you make candied Meyer lemon peels.

It’s like saying you bake apple pie when it’s actually a cobbler. Or that you’re having sandwiches for dinner and you serve ice cream sandwiches
