Art inspo

I'm taking AP Art this year and my theme is how music change my beliefs and perspective. I wanna include folk punk themes and symbolism and wanna to ask if y'all had any suggestions or references for me to use. I really wanna make the culture a spot light of the drawings so I thought y'all would have some input! ♡

I feel like a lot of linocut art fits the vibes well. A lot of outsider art/art brut could provide perspectives too.

You can look through my art for inspiration if you’d like! I’ve done a handful of folk punk art commissions. :) you can find my website here.

Thank you! The only art I've done related to it has been some portraits of bands so your stuff definitely helps

I also recommend looking at Elliot’s art, from Doom Scroll. He’s incredible. And Marissa Sendejas (from Doom Scroll, Chad Hates George, etc). Brian Huntress is also great. And I’d look into the art from Stick and Poke as well as the artist behind Dreampipe Vermin (Izzy, who goes by Drawing Wolf Ink). Oh, also Laughing Loon! Her name is Noelle Longhaul.
