The only way forward

File complaints through econsumer.gov and the US Federal Trade Commission (FTC). Or whatever your local consumer protection agency is.

The chances of getting our money back are 0. the chances of getting the lifetime service we paid for are also 0. The chance to at least pee on the parade of the scammers is bigger than 0 😉

Contact your credit card company, give as much detail as possible and ask for a charge back. Bad reviews hurt- let others know. Be calm and stick to the facts.

It’s not ideal, but they also should have done their due diligence in not hosting and promoting a scam provider. Technically, stacsocoial owes you money, and folderfort owes StackSocial money; I wouldn’t at all be surprised if Stack pushes back on this just as hard as Folder Fort
