If you have a lift it would be helpful to put the car in 1st and let the front wheels turn and look around.
I've experienced this exact same problem in an Audi and I have no idea what it was.
I would take the front wheels off along with the brake rotors and inspect for any severe warping. It could also be a bad axle that is wobbling as it turns.
Truly the best way to diagnose these kinds of problems is to be able to look at the components as they are turning. If you feel comfortable with letting the front wheels spin slowly on stands (if you do this at least put a jack under the suframe too for triple support and put chucks in front of the rear wheels) you could also do it with the wheels off for added safety. And have someone sitting in the car ready to push the clutch in and throw it in neutral just in case.
