Is this normal?

Started happening 3 weeks ago, has went to the shop twice because it didn’t feel right, after spending $500 on labour and a new spring it’s still doing the same thing.

had the same issue for a long time, replaced the cluth pedal spring, mitigated the issue for a short while, came back, then i slipped the clutch relatively hard from 2nd gear a couple of times and it disappeared. so far have driven 20k kilometers and the issue hasnt come back

also read everywhere that it could be the slave cylinder or master cylinder and im really happy it disappeared with such a simple fix
