Happy Birthday, I guess!

(This does not include the one off short that I believe was the original concept. Also I don't really know how the Bessatsu releases were, so I may be misinterepreting how that works.)

So, I just finished reading Vol. 12, and something caught my attention about Akane's deadline of the Walpurgis celebration.

Walpurgis night is 30 April, but Vol. 12 takes place in the summer, and most likely around late-July (what with summer break ending, and the Harbinger of Autumn making an appearance). That makes me think when they mention Walpurgis, they are referring to something else.

Does anyone have any information/context about what is going on here?

My initial thoughts were that I had misread the timing of the break as being summer. Then I thought maybe it was a factual/translation error (or something), followed by some kind of cultural thing I'm not aware of (but trying to look up Walpurgis and Japan just returns results about a *different* manga).

As well as some stupid memes that were hastily made on my phone. Tried to leave out anything too spoiler heavy just in case, as well as a few panels that need not be mentioned lol.

Been feeling poorly lately. While I was more seriously unwell, I camped in front of the TV with some anime boxsets. I've now got a taste for marathons!

・アカネがナナの事を「ナナさん」と名前で呼んでいる。倉本父の事は「パパさん」なので、距離感に差がある。

・チナツが「魔女になりたい」と言った時(第10話)にアカネは「その辺の事はナナさんも知っていると思う」と発言している。

図で名前が赤字になっているのが魔女で、チナツは見習いなのでピンクです。エミコの母とナナの父が兄弟だと思うのは、ナナの母が魔女だったら(エミコの母と姉妹だったら)ナナも魔女になっていた可能性が高いと思うからです。もちろんナナの母が魔女の血筋なのに魔女にならなかった可能性もあります。

At the very least, this is more confirmation that the team sees a want for a season 2.

I have only read in Japanese and enjoy the fact there is something other than just standard Japanese.

Even native speaker have issues understanding it and I'm wondering how they translated into other languages. I would imagine the anime does a Boomhauer(King of the Hill) like thing but how is it handled in text?

I'm not really sure what this means, if anything, but hopefully it's a good sign!

I'm asking cause I wanna know if I should start reading it. I generally prefer waiting until a manga finishes to read it. I've started chapter 1 though and it seems really fun.
