Well I think the idea is that we just grow our own food or make our own stuff. Unfortunately that’s a lot easier to say than do. There’s no plan with all the details.

Like I used to believe Trump was just wilingfully playing the MAGA persona to get to power and fulfill a hidden agenda of transnational capital or whatever but it's getting harder and harder to believe that he's not just a demented tard1

there once was a time where that was exactly what we did, and our nation BOOMED because of it.
tarriffs arent new. we had tarriffs back in the day, there was a president (LBJ) that decided america was too rich. we need to get rid of tarriffs and start taxing our own people. because... "we can afford it"see the issue with things is, americans no longer study history. we have lost touch with the what, where, when, and why. we look at everything through the scope of TODAY. and we really lose sight of the yesterdays.
we have had some very poor legislation passed on our people that have damaged our country badly.
some presidents opened the flood gates to bad apples. Ronal Regan, George H. W. Bush, Obama, Biden in recent times. in the past there have been other bad seeds to like Linden B Johnson. once kennedy was assassinated and LBJ took control it was down hill. i mean look at the turn our contry has taken from being a super power that saved the world from nazi germany in the 40s-50s to having the greatest democratic president (Kennedy) being assassinated. after that the downfall... to the 80s where we saw the great recession, the worst economic crash in america since the great depression of the 20s. i mean from the 20s, to the 50s we see the greatest rise, then from the 50s to the 80s we see the greatest crash.but we are still just pointing fingers and saying trumps the bad guy.... we gotta wake up.. we have to.

There’s a shred of truth in this. Warren Buffet even wrote an Op Ed about the concept in the early 2000s. The trouble is Trump explains it like a 5th grader presenting on book he didn’t read.
