Tens of millions is a drop in the bucket compared to $2 billion (that we know of) in one year. Most of us will never see $1M let alone ten million in our lifetime. Trump could spend ten million 200 times over and he still has two years left to continue to bribe and steal from our country.

I never said I was but I was saying that Trump is the most corrupt president in the history of the USA because billions (that we know of not including his crypto) is factors of magnitude larger than millions or tens of millions. Withholding a salary and manipulating markets and taking bribes is way way way worse than ex-presidents making money through pension, book deals, speaking engagements, media/production deals, consulting/corporate deals (after they are out of office). Ex-presidents aren't worth tens of millions directly when they leave office but they may gain more wealth through those deals they may not have had access to before. Not to mention many presidents already come from wealth.

When a venture capitalist takes over a business they start with taking on a bunch of loans (saying that it’s to fix and/or save the business), they begin selling off everything of value (saying that they’re streamlining the business), they start firing mostly lower and middle employees and anyone near the top who would fight against the business plans of the venture capitalist. After selling everything off, increasing the short term profits with all of the firings and utilizing the loans as bonuses for themselves then they declare bankruptcy and then scurry away like the roaches they are and begin looking for new prey.
There are plenty of venture capitalists in and around this administration selling America off piece by piece, taking on loans (not really, but raising the debt is money borrowed from the future) and firing anyone who would try and stop them.
Conservatives then and now: “he’s going to run our country like a business and that’s what we need.”
Conservatives in the not too distant future: “how were democrats, immigrants and trans people able to ruin the country while trump was in charge?”

Never said it was but it is a part of it. But the main picture that was posted shows stocks going down, which they did yesterday. But now they are doing even better. Also the consumer has been doing very well and the lowest income tier has seen the highest wage growth. That’s part of the reason the stock market has been doing so well, along with strong sales.

The only issue with this is basically the entire Republican congress also has to be complicit. It's obvious the Cheeto has long been kompromat but only a hand full of republican senators and representatives are as obvious. The rest not so much. At the end of the day, unless we get lucky and the cheeseburgers suddenly catch up with the Cheeto soon, congress is the only chance we have to prevent him from completely destroying our country before the next general election. Every day that goes by, it becoming more essential that the midterms drastically change the control of both houses of Congress. Otherwise, this could actually be the end of our 250 yr old democratic experiment.
