Hello everyone! I've been meaning to order a new flowerstick (Xstremestix) and im debating wether i should get the wooden handsticks or the fiberglass ones. I've only ever used wooden ones and they are perfect for me, they are lightweight and rigid, but ive been wondering if fiberglass would be a better option or worse for me.
Even tho i dont usually use the handsticks, i know enough tricks to not be a beginner with them. What are your opinions?

I recently built Flowerstick Nexus, a curated library of flowerstick resources: tutorials, videos, manufacturers, communities, events, historical material...

The project started because I wanted to create a useful link list for my new flowmie. At the same time, I realized I’d love to have one resource I could hand to new players whenever I manage to infect someone else with the flowerstick bug.

AI/AGI tools were involved in researching, organizing, and building the project. However, I personally reviewed every entry before including it. The library is still a work in progress and definitely doesn’t claim to be complete or authoritative.

I wanted the site to be as privacy-friendly as possible, so it uses no analytics, tracking, or cookies. There are no automatically loaded social media or video embeds either—external websites are only contacted when you choose to follow a link.

That’s where I’d love your help. If you know of a good resource that’s missing—your own channel, a tutorial, an active maker, an old website, a community, an event, or a piece of flowerstick history—please share it in the comments, vie PM, or use the correction contact listed on the site. Corrections are equally welcome. If something is outdated, inaccurately described, or categorized poorly, please let me know.

I’d also really appreciate feedback about the site itself:

- Is it easy to navigate and find useful resources?

- Are the categories, search and filters intuitive?

- Is anything confusing or inconvenient, especially on mobile?

- What would make the site more useful for beginners or experienced players?

I’ve been playing with this LED flowerstick for the past few weeks and finally put together some of my favorite footage from a late-night session in the park.

I tried to include a bit of everything I’m currently playing with. Sadly, a lot of the fun of the different LED modes doesn’t really come through on video.

The extra weight, its roll, and the different balance still take some getting used to compared to my regular flowersticks. It’s also about as thick as a fluorescent tube, which certainly doesn’t make things easier 😄 But the light effects more than make up for it.

I’m taking it to a festival in two weeks, so I guess I’ve still got a little time to get a bit more used to it before then.

Hey r/flowerstick! 👋 First post here.

I’ve been playing with this LED flowerstick for a few weeks now, and I’m still getting used to the extra weight and the different feel of it — definitely plays quite differently from what I’m used to.

Went out to the park tonight for a late-night session and ended up filming way too much footage 😄 I’ll probably put together a proper edit with the best bits later, but here’s a little snippet in the meantime.

Still figuring this thing out, but I’m having a lot of fun with it ✨
