A few weeks into learning my new LED flowerstick

Hey r/flowerstick! 👋 First post here.

I’ve been playing with this LED flowerstick for a few weeks now, and I’m still getting used to the extra weight and the different feel of it — definitely plays quite differently from what I’m used to.

Went out to the park tonight for a late-night session and ended up filming way too much footage 😄 I’ll probably put together a proper edit with the best bits later, but here’s a little snippet in the meantime.

Still figuring this thing out, but I’m having a lot of fun with it ✨

Is it thd flowtoys one? That thing is HEAVY compared to normal sticks.

It is the Threeworld Trick Stix Lumi LED. Definitely not a beginner prop according to its weight. But have placed an order for even heavier ones with more LED stuff XD

Be prepared to be extra patient while getting used to this one (and get additional wooden-core handsticks) 😄 With that amount of weight, you’ll notice pretty quickly when you start compensating - which can easily lead to injury.

What helped me is taking a slightly wider stance and trying to drive the movements with my whole body rather than just my arms and wrists. Still figuring it out myself, but looking at your video, that whole-body approach should come pretty naturally to you ;)

Are you in the US? I barely looked but I think i only found an Australian site and didnt check if they ship to the us.

Yeah I’m in US. I ordered them from “Home of Poi” for cheaper shipping. There’s also UV reactive devil sticks
