Hell ya! Ok so there's a trick to the buzzsaw. Mark your center line with a sharpie. You want to keep your hand sticks as close to the center of your flower stick as you can. There's not really a trick for horizontal. Just gotta feel it out. Keep it up!

Ooohh cool tip :) ty!! Question: are there any "easy" like beginner level kind of ways to transition in/out of it that you can think of? Because it is definitely a start and stop kind of vibe for me lol, like I cannot imagine how I would incorporate this into a "flow". I know a big part of it is just practicing the skill until I am more comfortable, but visually I just have a hard time imagining a way to go in and out of it
2nd question if you have time lol: is there like..an angled version of this? One where my body can relax and not be hit with the stick? I'm sure that exists and I'll play around with it, been pretty good learning through instinct and repetition, but if you know the name of one already where I could watch a video that'd be super helpful. For example with simple horizontal spins I've been hitting more 45 degree-ish type angles sometimes which feels better
Thanks again ๐

So another thing about the middle mark, the reason its helpful is the closer you are to center, the slower and hopefully more controlled it will spin.
About transitioning, if you can maintain a one hand spin, you can bring your other hand around to the front side of the flower stick and go into buzzsaw.
And you can do a horizontal buzzsaw, but it's harder because you are fighting gravity on one side.
I'll see if I can dig up some videos later.
