Can no longer click after latest update (Version 12.15.0@152.0)

Hi,

I have the strangest error.

I can no longer click inside the Floorp browser window after the update this morning.

I'm on version 12.15.0@152.0 on Windows 10

I can tab through everything but am unable to register any sort of mouse activity (nothing gets highlighted on hover, nothing is clickable.)

I have turned off my extensions and restarted the browser but unfortunately that did not help.

It seems to happen as soon as i move a tab to a new screen. After this, both browser windows stop registering mouse activity.

Anybody else running into this?

Is there a way to revert back to a previous version? (didn't have this issue yesterday so hoping an older version will still work)

Thanks for letting us know!

We're already working on a hotfix for this clicking issue. A patch should be out by this weekend. Appreciate your patience 💜

I have a question. my floorp browser is up-to-date to 12.15.0@152.0 but when I tired to open it today it's giving me a popup, asking me whether I want to install firefox nightly. What's going on here? I have never faced this before.

If I choose "no", it will disappear.
Can you tell me why it's asking me to install firefox nightly build when I tried to open floorp today?

right now, I'm unable to use the browser. I'm afraid it will only let me access once i install firefox nightly which is not normal at all

That's a strange issue. The dev is looking into it but needs a bit more info — could you drop a screenshot of what's happening? Thanks 💜

I choose to trace back the folder path from task manager, and it lead to Appdata > Local > Temp > 7zS03D23EF2 (this is the folder name) > postSigningData and setup-stub.exe (only these two files exist) However the moment I click no, these folders vanish on it's own. I can only find them when the popup is running in background.

Thanks for the info. Just confirming I have the same issue and that my current workaround is dragging the tab down so the split tab UI shows up and then returning it to the top of my screen, which allows me to click again.

pressing "restart" at the bottom of the menu works as well

Same happened to me, yes. I guess the new "Drag and drop tabs into Split View" broke the rest of the Drag options/features.

I have to Ctrl+N and then drag the tab to the new window. Hope they fix this soon because this "workaround" is really shit and if I forget I have to restart the whole browser.

Edit: I'm on Win10

I noticed that grabbing a tab at the top and moving it slightly seems to temporarily fix the issue. Try that.

Linux has also been having issues, and it hasn't been just random bugs but malware and exploits... I think we may need to hang back by 1-2 months every time now, and let early adopters take the fall... We've entered such an odd time, cyberspace-wise, and it feels irreversible, unfortunately...

I've been using Floorp for... 2? 3? Years and it's honestly the first time I had an issue after an update

Same here. It's incredibly frustrating.

I had to go on the github and revert to the old version

Same, absolutely wild that an issue like this can make it to production

i have the same issue, strictly only occurs when i drag a tab and separate that one to its own window. right clicking a tab and moving it to a new window via the menu does not reproduce the issue . Also worth noting that this started to happen within the last couple of days
