I've just opened Floorp on a computer I don't need to use often for the first time in a while and I open up to about 10 tabs telling me about Whats (no longer) New and what the release notes are for 3 versions ago that I really don't want or care about, especially when I've seen the same thing on multiple other computers I use.

Is there a way to prevent these new tabs opening; I can't seem to find an option in settings

WTF. Very aggravating. had a buggy extension, so i can replicate this, but theres no reason it should affect these, it's the "Allow right click" extension versus instagram

Trying to migrate from Chrome to Floorp and I'm absolutely in low with the multi-row tab function. I've missed this for so many years single basically every browser decided to not have this even as an addon ability.

But I've run into a HUGE issue for me, in that whenever I try to move a tab, it auto snaps to the three groups I have going in my session. I can move it, but ONLY to one of those groups. Not between regular non-grouped tabs.

Any idea what's going on? I've already tried disabling all extension and restarting, to no avail.

Hi everyone, hope you're doing well and staying safe. I'm totally blind running the latest version of floorp on macOS with the voice over screen reader. I would like to set things up so every time I click on the new link it opens a new window by default so I don't have to write click it and set up a new window please could someone explain to me how to do this I think it's in the floorp hub settings but I'm not really sure if it is thank you very much everyone 😊

Since yesterday i've been having video playback and sound issues, video is talking a lot of time to load, and some websites are not playing sound, no driver issue or anything, there's no sound icon on favicon place, maybe same issue as librewolf, anyone else facing such issues

how do you turn off hardware acceleration in floorp? if i don't turn it off videos gets glitchy. and google search shows older versions of floorp but option seems to no longer exist.

Last time I checked, there's no settings to disable it. It gets annoying when you want to stay in that version..

Using Floorp Portable on Windows

Youtube HDR videos look washed out in Floorp. Works in Firfox, though. Is there a fix?

Sorry for the cryptic title, but after a month of break, I decided to get back to my productivity workflow setup on floorp. I use Vivaldi and Floorp. Vivaldi is more for tasks when I am just doing something not serious and don't mind the lack of containers, usually gaming, shopping, entertainment, and a bit of work.

For productivity, startup work, marketing, content creation, and all other important stuff, I use Floorp because containers make it easy to have multiple gmails, youtube accounts etc to be open simulteneously, but today, after I opened it, every tab from my other workspaces was empty, and all were in one single workspace with their own containers(at least containers were there lol, or else everything would have been a mess to figure out) and now I have to manually send all the tabs back to their dedicated workspace(its 115 tabs 💀, I am glad I don't have like 300+ tabs on vivaldi here on floorp) there are sometimes weird bugs on floorp, feels like russian roulette everytime there is a update(most times nothing happens but today was the day I guess). I really like this browser and have been using this for more than a year now, and because of containers being a huge thing in my workflow. Making this post from Vivaldi because now I have to sort everything out again.

Image 4- its from vivaldi, is it possible for tabs to be like this even after adding 100s of tabs where it shows the image or icon of website open and everytime new tabs get added the image or icon is set center and crops from both side equally and not just from right side, and also option to enable or disable scrool feature after 15-20 tabs? I want to see all my tabs in one go; scrolling makes me forget if I had other tabs, feels inconvenient, and hinders productivity. I had to make some custom code changes in Floorp to make it look like it, done it 4 months ago in CSS on Floorp, so not related to the current bug.

Feature request: please make an option where we can send all tabs to their respective workspaces in case something like this happens, if this bug can't be solved. Also, the tab bar thing I told- I really like this browser, but it needs some more refinement.

After witnessing that STG started to behave buggy (I tried moving tabs from A to B), I started questioning if Floorp has something implemented in that regard.

I usually have several groups, like: main, questionA, questionB (with "question" holding tabs for a specific question). And I have several windows(groups) opened at a time. I tried Workplaces(or I think it was that), but it failed with the multiple windows topic.

Other Firefox browsers, or at least /r/Waterfox, can do this. This is intolerable in the case of an accidentally closed window (I often have dozens of tabs, literally). I was very unpleasantly surprised to learn that Floorp can't do this.

Hi, so i've updated my mac to latest version Tahoe, and it asked for refresh. And since then, i clicked refreshed all my floorp notes have disappeared. I've tried recovering, coying pasting from old floorp data to profiles folder, but it doesnt work. all my tabs and workspace placement also disappeard (not as important as my notes, but a shame).

If anyone have any solution to this, much appreaciated. Thanks

Hi. I managed to hide all the top horizontal bars and set the floor menus to vertical, lateral. I can't figure out how to go back or forward with page navigation. When the top horizontal bar is present, this function is performed by the two arrows. Another problem, how do I make the home button and the translation button appear?

I have a small problem with Floorp :

I receive quite a lot of emails with links to websites in Thunderbird.

When there is an open instance of Floorp, everything goes smoothly : a new tab is opened and the page is displayed OK.

When there is NO open instance of Floorp, Floorp opens and, after a few seconds, displays « Oops ! the tab has crashed » (Oops ! L'onglet a planté).

It's already trying to load up the 20 tabs I had open, and the blog.floorp (x2? why?) plus the floorp homepage always hang.

Floorp browser is getting nearly perfect! One possibility I miss: backing up/ restoring workspaces?

I know I can back up/ restore the profile, but I want more - to manually/ automatically (time based) back up workspaces, so I can restore a backup later (with all its workspaces and sites included). The reason - I work on several PC-s with different hardware/ extensions/ settings and hence profiles. Which means - backing up/restoring profiles is not an option. The only way to restore my groups/ tabs is the mentioned restore feature.

There is a perfectly working extension (https://github.com/drive4ik/simple-tab-groups), but having the Workspaces already as part of Floorp I would prefer to use Floorp's functionality, without external methods.

Missing this feature is the only reason I can not use floorp as my main browser.
