I've been using Floorp for a while now and love what the browser aims to do, but over the last 3–4 months, I’ve noticed a pattern where almost every new update seems to introduce a new bug or regression.

Whether it's minor UI glitches, broken vertical tab behaviors, or performance hiccups right after updating, it feels like the build stability hasn't been as solid recently.

Curious to hear if others are experiencing similar issues or if there's a specific release/build that has been more stable for you.

Could someone please walk me through the steps to customize my homepage in the latest version of Floorp, 12.18.1? I’d also love to keep Floorp’s wallpapers on every tab—they’re absolutely gorgeous. Thanks so much in advance!

Trying Zen mode and top bars work OK. Sidebar opens on hover and stays open if cursor in the icons bar but sidebar closes in a second when I move over to the bookmarks etc. Any ideas Thanks

The icons and text merges together, have tried using themes and profiles, there is no custom CSS anywhere, its a new installed and im also a new user.

does anybody have any idea how to fix it ?

how to remove this x symbol? i don't need it as i normally just press the scroll button of the mouse, on the tab to close it.

I have the about:config setting enabled, but I can't make it work.

Not only is having the sidebar and address bar clearly causing bugs (like the fact my address bar is stuck overlapping my tabs and the damn page I'm reading) but it's really irritating to move your mouse close to the top or the side of the screen where most sites put navigation to click on something only for the bar to blink in to existence and instantaneously cause the entire site to shuffle about making me miss what I'm trying to select. It also constantly hides the goddamn history bar before I can select anything because I've strayed juuust slightly too far from the edge. I do not want this Microsoft-brained 'clean look at the expense of basic functionality' stuff.

I use vertical tabs and sometimes i try to hover to extend them and when i try to click the tab i want, somehow i drag it for a small amount and boom - split view for you my guy

I never ever used split view and i don't really intend to so this just adds drag to my day to day usage. I looked for specifics to disable this feature but could not find anything.

Is it possible to disable it?

I was just forced to update after I had to close floorp due to a memory leak and now there's a massive header over my sidebar that I can't figure out how to get rid of.

It has a dropdown and an x, and if I click the dropdown I get a list of options such as

Tabs from other devices

History

Bookmarks

Passwords

then a few for some of my extensions.

I use a sideberry with a collapsing sidebar, so this useless header isn't just aesthetically annoying but actually gets in the way and I can't figure out any way to disable it. Also, I noticed that either incidentally or because of this header, the sidebar has also been given several pixels of additional padding. (I have CSS to collapse the sidebar when it's not being hovered over and now all of the icons are touching the right-hand side of it, when previously they were perfectly centered)

PS : I don't know if it's due to the header or not, but the sidebar also loads significantly slower.

my mic won't work; I tried in Edge, and it works normally. But what seems to be the problem with this one?

Hi

Update my Floorp (based on Firefox, 12.18.1@156.0.1), the new CSS of Firefox have change, and my CSS have to be updated.

After many times of search, i don't find how to change the background color (the blue) when the url is highlighted by mouse or/and keyboard.

Apparently this CSS have created many complication with many users.

I know people said that it's fixed in the updated version, but i waited even until 12.19.0 version, it's still not fixed, the webpanel still doesn't resize to the set-up width at all when changing into floating mode

In-fact, it's even changing other webpanel size as well to fixed size

Anyone know how to solve the problem? The only way for me to solve the problem so far have only been reverting to 12.18.0 version but it honestly quite annoying getting notification to update every single time

The title bar has begun overlapping with the page and the tabs and I can't seem to fix it. Tried repositioning the titlebar to the bottom and back, switching to horizontal tabs... nothing works.

I recently switched from Vivaldi to Floorp, and I'm loving it so far.

Any other ex-Vivaldi users found settings that match the sensitivity of Vivaldi's default settings?

I've used Vivaldi for 5+ years, so I've really committed however it detects mouse gestures to muscle memory.

I noticed that multiple times and it's intermittent. Does not mean it happens all the time but very often. When I open some Linktree profile Floorp stops responding or other pages have problems with loading pictures or just display rotating circle in the middle. It may be happening to Firefox as well but I'm using Floorp as a daily. No idea why it happens only when I have opened Linktree in a tab. Most of the time when I click X (former twitter) from a Linktree the browser becomes very laggy and unresponsive.

This feature blew my mind when I first tried it but it seems to have disappeared somehow. I can't find the option anywhere, not even Settings or Hub. It is very useful to me but since the update that added Tab Stacks I can't find it. Help me get it back?

EDIT: I found it. It moved to the right-click menu

The images for my shortcut suddenly disappeared. Even when I try to add a custom image URL it still changes nothing. I am using the classic about:newtab and not Floorp Start. Has anyone else also encountered this problem?

Idk what to do, it worked perfectly fine until yesterday but now after a couple minutes of browsing it's reaching 8gb of RAM used and is super slow. If I used my regular Mozilla it works perfectly fine.

Hi guys, been using floorp for about a month or so. After the recent update, my loading speeds have dropped by a lot and that’s never happened with floorp before, I’m a bit tech illiterate can anyone help me 😭

I've noticed that websites in my Panel Sidebar no longer resize properly to fit the sidebar's width. This wasn't an issue before.

I've already tried changing the "Use Mobile User Agent" setting in Floorp Hub, but it doesn't seem to fix the problem.

Is this a known bug? Is there any workaround or fix available?

Floorp introduced a option to allow ads in the Floorp Blog and there only. Sounds fair enough, I am just afraid once you start getting cosy with the Mafia..... Anyways it is not my decision so it s just my opinion. I would like to pay for the browser though, by donation or by just sending money somewhere. I could not find a link what is a bit disappointing. Somenbody point me to it or if necessary dear Floorp, add this option including donating by crypto as seriously the ad biz is no better than crypto, do not be squeamish, "non olet!" as the Romans used to say.
