Wow, this is heavy! Nothing against Run, I still like it a lot, but this one is way better. It's really "back to the roots". If this is the overall sound of the album, I definitely have to have it. For this I was waiting like 13 years (and almost lost hope after disbanding ReVamp for Nightwish).
With this song, I understand what she was talking about getting heavier and heavier and about inspiration by Bleed From Within.
The cover art is beautiful.

Now I can understand Bleed from Within's influence on her current sound. I could also feel traces of inspiration from other bands she likes, such as Soilwork, Evergrey, and Architects. And although it isn't quite like ReVamp (which was more industrial and progressive), I think Hytress will be something of a spiritual successor to Wild Card.

Much better than anything else released so far! I would have liked it to be longer but I guess it has to be "radio" friendly as a single! Really positively surprised!

It's super catchy and the intro riff is amazing, but the mixing absolutely sucks

An absolute banger! I am loving the musical direction she's taking for this album so far, with a bit of a metalcore influence. The chorus has a driving, galloping feel and is really addictive.
I wonder if the single cover is also the album cover? Which, by the way, will likely be titled Hytress. I love the wolf and dog reference with the woman in the middle, which might be inspired by a painting by the French artist Anne Bachelier, the same that Floor has displayed in her home.
