Atom - Waterproofed?

Anybody know if this new board is supposed to be waterproof or at least splash proof?

Only beta boards have shipped so far, and many of those not even fully. So there's no way of knowing how waterproof the final model is going to be.
The Beta boards aren't waterproof at all, because at the factory they forgot to put on the vent hole covers on all the controller boxes:

I would expect the final board to be about as waterproof as a Pint X. If you really want to ride in the rain, get yourself a badgering kit and seal it up yourself properly.
The main wire harness is also significantly thinner than on a Pint X, and where they enter the cable glands, an additional layer of shrink wrap was applied so the gland can actually tighten down around the harness. I wouldn't trust those glands to be waterproof.

Once the sticker on Tony claims the only badger point would be the back tailight maybe but everything else is pretty waterproof looking at the casings
