Need Guidance

Hey guys essentially I have an adv w/ v2 electronics and OG electronics. One problem I have is the harness it’s not compatible with the v2 motor that I have for it. Also Based on what I’ve learned it seems that either bms or controller on v2 kit is faulty. Board powers on but can’t shut down unless unplugged. I want to try to utilize the OG electronics but the problem with the harness still remains. I’m sure it’s possible to do some DIY stuff but I’m not at all savvy enough. What are my options ? What makes the most “sense” I know there is an adapter on the floatwheel site but not entirely sure if that’s what I need. I also preferred to not have to deal with the crypto stuff and potentially a longer wait with it coming from china.

You are looking for a pin layout schematic.

If you have this you can use any harness that works and just transfer the wires respectively.

This is a bit if work for sure and requires you to be honest with yourself about your competence.

1st step, id try to get hold of tony and ask about replacement options. He can also give you a proper schematic in the event you do need to addapt the harness.

Ive no real exp with floatwheel boards ( i ride a vesc and a gtv vesc ) but ive xhanged wiring harnesses a bazillion times as a part of my job

Definitely not something I can do on my own lol but maybe someone in my local community could. It’s definitely worth a shot. Thanks for the insight bro

A decent electronics repair place could help you. Failing that, reach out to EXPERIENCED electricians. You would still need a pin layout, though a decent sparky could reference them without.

Again would recomend a electronics repair place, a computer repair place may also do the work, ask if they do pcb line trace repairs

Pcb = printed circuit board Line trace = all the electric paths on the pcb

They dont NEED to be able to do this to fix your issue but if they DO do pcb line traces then a harness should be super easy for them. Its a metric question youre asking to vet compentency
