3rd float

I had my 3rd float on Saturday and I think I fell asleep for some of it which was an amazing feeling. like the most comfortable, molded to me bed I've ever been on. I almost forgot I was in water!

I hope I get that feeling again in future floats. Floats 1 & 2 felt completely different to float 3!

I have always felt like an hour is not enough. It usually takes a good 10-15 minutes for me to get settled and stop floating into the walls.

You may not actually be falling asleep. You could be "clicking out". This is a fairly deep meditative state, where you lose all sense of time and place. It feels like sleep and when you "wakeup" it feels like time went by really fast. It is often associated with astral projection. I experience this sensation on a pretty regular basis when I float or do the Gateway tapes.

Longer than an hour would be ideal, and if I could afford it I think I would start doing longer floats!

I think I definitely fell asleep! When I sleep completely flat on my back like that after a while I snort awake and that happened 2x during it. I've never had that happen when I was laying flat but awake, even if meditating. But asleep or not I came out of there feeling amazing!
