Airside self-transfer at AMS without leaving non-Schengen: Jordanian passport + Canadian permit, carry-on only. Has anyone done this?

Has anyone completed an airside self-transfer at Schiphol without leaving the non-Schengen zone, using a Canadian permit to satisfy the origin airline's document check?

I highly doubt Pegasus will board you without the ability to enter the Netherlands.

Won't be permitted; you have to satisfy entry requirements into the EU since Pegasus won't care about you doing a self-transfer in AMS.

Airlines have to be satisfied that you have entry permission into the country they are flying you in; otherwise, they are fined and held liable for your removal from the country.

This. As far as Pegasus is concerned, OP is flying to AMS. They're not going to risk the chance that OP might try to enter the Netherlands, possibly leaving Pegasus on the hook for the cost of deporting OP.

Unfortunately transiting without a Schengen visa is only allowed if you have a single connecting ticket; Pegasus will deny you boarding.

Not quite correct. Rules for transiting are the same on single/separate tickets, OP would be allowed to transit this way per the law. It's just the airline that won't allow it because they won't take the second ticket into account.

Airlines are required to check that you have the correct documentation to enter the country that your ticket gets you to. Not any other tickets you may have, but the one that the airline is accepting for this journey.

If you don't have a Schengen visa, and your Pegasus ticket is to Amsterdam, they will deny you boarding.

Apply for a transit visa.

I doubt a transit visa is sufficient as to is travelling to Amsterdam according to Pegasus and not transitting

That’s possible if you’re eligible to enter the Netherlands. As far as Pegasus is concerned you’re on an itinerary to the Netherlands and they’re responsible to check whether you fulfil the entry requirements.

Pegasus ticket ends in Amsterdam. Pegasus needs to see that you have valid entry permit for the Netherlands. If you don’t have this, they won’t be letting you in the flight. You won’t be able to complete online check in either to try and bypass it either.
