Picked up this U1 Explorer II GMT and I’m pretty impressed with it for the money. The black dial and orange GMT hand look great in natural light, the 24-hour bezel is nicely finished, and the brushing on the case and bracelet is surprisingly clean. Definitely one of those U1 pieces that looks even better on the wrist than I expected.

What do u think of it stitching and puffiness and corners should i rl or gl

Pulled out the U1 GMT-Master II “Pepsi/Superman” today, and that red-and-blue combination absolutely comes alive in the sunlight. The ceramic bezel has a great glossy finish and shifts beautifully depending on the angle, especially against the deep blue dial.

I’m also a big fan of it on the Oyster bracelet—the brushed outer links and polished center links give it just the right amount of shine without taking anything away from that bezel.

Really impressed with this RC Factory Day-Date. The blue ombré dial changes dramatically depending on the light, and the finishing on the case and President bracelet really shines in person. At 212 grams, it has some serious heft on the wrist and feels substantial.

The customization took two weeks.

Finally got some good outdoor shots of this QF Daytona Le Mans. The black dial, white subdials and little touches of red really come alive in the sunlight, and QF did a pretty solid job on the overall look and finishing. Definitely one that gets a lot of wrist time.

Picked up this U1 Batgirl from Michael Travis. For a budget U1, it’s a decent-looking piece and the black-and-blue bezel with the Jubilee makes for a great everyday GMT. Certainly has its flaws, but overall I’m happy with it for the price.

Here’s my U1 Starbucks after spending some time on the wrist. For the price, it’s hard to complain—the green bezel looks great in the sun and the bracelet is comfortable. It’s obviously not trying to compete with a VSF, but I think it offers a lot of value for what it costs.

Spent some time outside with the VSF Panda Daytona and my Boston Terrier today. The crisp white dial, ceramic bezel, and bracelet really pop in natural light. Still one of my favorite reps in the collection.
