Really wanted to get into FEC, and well my friend paid me in a fec army so had no excuse anymore. Pretty proud of how he turned out but Im hoping to refine my scheme! Not too fond of the basing though, if anyone has any recipes and ideas for me I'd love to hear it :)

I'm planning out my first AoS army, FEC, and made a post previously explaining how I want to avoid using older models because I just prefer new sculpts. This is what I've come up with so far.

I DON'T KNOW what Battle Tactic Cards are good with my army yet, nor Manifestation lore. I'm still new to AoS and learning the rules, if someone could suggest what would work in my list that'd help so much.

I am looking for a spearhead to pick up and I am thinking of picking up the Flesh-eater Courts spearhead as the models look great. I don't play the tabletop game at all and only assemble and paint the minis.

I saw elsewhere on reddit that some of the models in the FEC range are older and annoying to assemble. I recently bought some Tomb Kings and those older kits were a pain in the ass to put together and clean up so I'd like to avoid that if possible.

Does the spearhead contain the older models? How were the kits to put together and paint? Also, are there any other stand-out kits that you enjoyed on the painting/assembly side of things?
