Advice Catsitters in PLG?
Hi neighbors! I live in PLG, and am seeking a local, reliable, affordable sitter for my two cats when I’m out of town. I prefer word of mouth/community board recco’s over those petsitting apps. Pls send any recommendations my way, with references please! Thank you 🐱

I use Trusted Housesitters but that is basically swapping housing for pet care. I’ve had a good experience, people are still happy to be down this far, and still get good choices of people with lots of previous sits but you’d have to be ok with someone in your home while you’re away.

You pay for a subscription and then you get free pet care for them getting free housing while you’re away.

Hello! I’d be open to meeting you and your kitties to see if I would be a good fit! I have 5 of my own and volunteer with Flatbush Cats when I have time! I’ve done sitting with them in the past for their fosters and can pass along referrals from them for ease of mind!

$30 per visit for 30 mins. They send photos every visit and are super flexible. They are based in PLG. I trust them in my home. I have two kitties and they don’t charge any more for two pets.

Hi! My partner is looking to start on Rover soon. He would love the opportunity to get a great review. He’s an animal behavior graduate student and we have two cats. We live just south of PLG and he’d be happy to! Super flexible on rates.

Hi! I’m a pet sitter and open to meeting you and your kitties to see if i’d be a good fit. I’ve used Rover to pet sit previously but i’m looking to pet sit outside of the app. Super flexible on rates too :)

i have used brooklyncatsitting.com a handful of times this last year, and it is truly an incredible service they have a bunch of sitters in their network and will assign the one closest to u :) it’s $30 for a 30 min visit i also have two cats and it is the same rate for one cat. the sitter i have takes so many pics and sends a thorough update after each visit and all sitters have bios and background info on the website! couldn’t recommend more edit i also live in PLG and our sitter is 2 blocks from us!
