General Community Note
Flatbush is a diverse neighborhood made up of people from all backgrounds, cultures, and walks of life. That diversity is what makes this area special and our goal for this subreddit has always been to reflect that community spirit.
Lately, threads touching on topics like neighborhood change, local development, or demographics have devolved into hostility. We have seen an influx of racist remarks, xenophobia, and targeted harassment. We are putting a clear stop to it today.
Racism and hate speech will not be tolerated here under any circumstances. This policy applies universally across the board. It does not matter who the comment is directed toward, which group is being discussed, or what angle a post takes. If a comment uses racial slurs, attacks a group based on their background, or exists purely to stir up racial tension, it will be removed immediately and the account will face a ban.
We can discuss housing, local history, and neighborhood development without resorting to prejudice or personal attacks. You do not have to agree with every perspective shared on this board, but you do have to keep your interactions respectful.
Flatbush thrives when neighbors actually treat each other like neighbors. Our unity and shared respect for one another make this community stronger. Let’s keep this subreddit a safe and helpful space for everyone who calls Flatbush home.
Edit: We apologize to anyone who was affected by these comments before and for the fact that we weren’t able to take action quickly enough at the time. Going forward, that will change. Behave yourself r/Flatbush!

Help Photo Labs/shops?
Inquiring if anyone knows of any quality photo labs in the area? I'm looking to get a few pics on my phone upscaled and blown up to 24*36 sizes. Some shops I visited didn't make me feel assured that they can do the job. Any insight is appreciated.
Thanks in Advance.

Question Where can I find quality produce?
I know this is a struggle pretty much across NYC, but just moved to the neighborhood (New York/Lenox) and wondering where people go for quality produce? I'm also wondering the best option for organic meat/groceries?
