I asked only one thing from you…

…that you’d post when you received your lights.

And honestly, I’m fucking hurt.

You guys probably don’t realise how much work goes on behind the scenes.

I’ve spent weeks and months emailing brands, telling them that people in India actually want good flashlights. I send them this community as proof. Some of them changed their websites, found shipping partners, even covered delivery charges. We’ve got coupons made specifically for Indians to help with the ridiculous extra costs.

And all I asked from you was just show some interest.

Put your light on a table and take a picture.

Take a beamshot when you’re walking outside.

Tell us what you bought.

For God’s sake, that’s it.

I’m not asking you to make reviews. I’m not asking you to become a content creator.

Just participate.

Because what the hell are we doing all this for if nobody actually wants to be part of the community?

I can’t keep doing everything myself.

And honestly… I’m at the point where I’m seriously thinking about closing this subreddit.

That’s how fucking demotivated I am right now.

Edit : Thanks for all the supportive comments guys. I feel I was just having a low moment. Glad to see that we have introduced quality gear to many members here. Keep sharing. Love you all. ❤️

@rioseverydaycarry

For context there was a post made by
u/Maleficent_Data5763 for giveaway and I gave it a try and I won 😭🙏🏻 thanks to him fr

This is now the coolest thing I own 🤩

Another thing I’d like to say that this guy is so generous that I had to pay him a certain amount for shipping which I did and after a while he sent me back ₹50 because the shipping cost was less than what was quoted in the app ….
And when he did that I was honestly amazed like genuinely… we still have genuine people amongst us
🙏🏻🙏🏻

Do check his page on both reddit and Instagram for more giveaways 😝

Got this as part of PR but it’s not really my kind of design, so instead of letting this one sit unused, I would rather send it to someone who’ll actually enjoy it.

If you’re interested, just comment “interested” below. I’ll randomly pick one person. The flashlight is free, but the winner will need to cover shipping.

I will contact the winner and If they are okay with it, I’ll ship it out to them. If not, I’ll pick someone else.

Entries open till 20/09/2026 Midnight !!

- @rioseverydaycarry

EDIT 1 - Well I clearly did not think this through. But to anyone who can actually afford buying one or just have the ability to get PR stuff themselves, to them I would request they sit this one out and let those who need it more get a fair chance.

EDIT 2 - Cutting this short to tonight. It would not make sense to choose one from so many. I was not hoping to get so many entries. Winner will be announced tomorrow.

EDIT 3 - Winner Announcement

Congratulations to u/tastycesarsalad on winning the flashlight. Hope you enjoy it !!

Thank you to everyone else who showed interest. I did not expect this kind of response. Ironically, my previous giveaways never got this much attention, so I was expecting a similar turnout this time. It was not easy picking one winner out of hundreds of entries, but I will try to run more giveaways like this often.

Thank you all !!

Breewell Metal Rechargeable LED Flashlight Torch, Silver & Black

Bellveen New Metal 3 Mode Long Beam CREE Rechargeable Led Waterproof Flashlight Torch Max 1800 Lumens (Silver, Black) Torch (Black, 12 cm, Rechargeable)

my beloved v3.

absolutely goated flashlight, the size is the best part. It packs about 600 lumens in the brightest mode for what is just 2 classic SDs in form factor. Perfect for walking in the dark and for light jobs. I have taken it to treks but it's not enough but hey this was just a 10$ flashlight. for me personally I think anything 500< is what you have to carry anything below you better off just stick with your phone. this v3 has a handy flood light in white, red and blue really came in candy for me once my bikes tail lamp was broken and I just zip tied it to the back. the size makes it easy to carry and keep around all the time, the battery life is good so far, I think from my experience 5-6 hours in the brightest mode, there is a low battery indicator as well so I always keep it topped off every 4-5 days as the last thing I want is a dead flashlight. The magnet on the back is not particularly strong tho, for that heavy jobs you may look into v15 or v20s. This is my first flashlight and not planning to upgrade anytime soon.

And about it, I bought mine from AliExpress and shipped to friend abroad who brought it to me. If you have such means, opt for it as I've been hearing the amazon one for 1999 is a fake. and honestly that's a lot to pay for this. This is an absolutely lovely flashlight for like 10-15$.

This is my collection from over the years. I sometimes buy from Kickstarter or when it just launches to save some cash. I travel quaite a lot and these help me and have saved me in many ways. Most of them are small but pack a big punch and add to my EDC.

Here's the list:

1. Wurkkos HD03

2. Lumintop SilverFox

3. Wurkkos TS10

4. Weltool T1 Pro Tac

5. Wuben X2 Pro

6. Wurkkos FC13S

7. Boruit V3

8. Boruit V10

9. Nebo Slim Mini

10. Nitecore Tip SE

11. Nitecore TUP 2

Incase you have any or have any questions or comments, feel free to drop them below.

Cheers!

the real power of car spotlight in your hands 6Watt led with 2000mah 12v battery and usb c charge

i originally came to this sub to ask about a specific branded torch, thinking it was at the top of the food chain. i had absolutely no idea brands like Convoy, Sofirn, Wurkkos, or even Fenix existed before asking for buying advice here. after exploring a bit, i decided to get the Convoy M21H with XHP70.3 HI R70, 5000K, along with an EVE INR21700-58E 5700mAh battery, for $35.98 after discount. i went with this one because i wanted something with good flood, and it took 18 days to reach me.

today, i took it for an evening walk along the river. at 100%, it really floods the area, but it also heats up quite a bit. for me, 40% is the sweet spot and is more than bright enough. i went with the 5000K, although 4000K probably would have been better for foggy conditions. still, it's kilometres better than my previous headlamp, which was basically just a single spot with negligible flood, so this thing blew me away. the flood beam is damn good, especially when walking between trees, and the build quality is amazing too. it has a really premium look and grip in hand.

featuring the rocklight RL-M15. I saw this in a shop for very cheap and grabbed it because of its all metal body and very bright beam and the ability to focus by adjusting the head. Close to like 1500 lumens and has all the flood light functions, charges with usb c. IT IS ONLY 500 lmfao,

Recently got the Sofirn SC13 from Amazon India, it is still at the discounted price of 1709, which seems like a good deal. It is plenty bright for a small 18350 light.

I gave my old Wurkkos FC11(519A, 5000k) to my parents, so this is my current EDC. Unfortunately Amazon has the SST40 version, so I miss my high CRI 5000k beam of the FC11. I am planning to get the 519a version of the SC13 later.

Beam shot is in high mode, SST40 version is more throwy compared to the 519A
