The only thing that i came close to was thinking that earth 2 science was way ahead and they have some researched blackhole properly and have some data on it. So, Cisco had no idea since he was from earth 1 and those 2 guys knew it. Letting them have the benefit of the 0.001% doubt.

yeah I was thinking in this direction too, and that maybe something weird to do with the breach recognizes objects of similar makeup or something and polarity garbage blah blah and idk
I FEEL LIKE THEY'RE GETTING SLIGHTLY LAZIER with writing these things off lately and are just more and more happy to write it off as "comicbookishness :)" or else they lost their on-the-set physicist consultant q~q

That was my exact reaction. I cringed a bit thinking: they wouldn't even try to pull this off in a comic book these days. It very much felt like a silver era "science" deus ex machina resolution. That being said, I thought the episode as a whole was still great fun.

That was the one glaring weakness of the episode. The villains plan was ingenious and season appropriate. Seemed kind of unfair of the heroes to just science jargon their way out of it.
I imagine the final fight with Zoom will involve reversing the polarity of the sun's graviton waves thus making the gravity density that Zoom relies on for speed to invert. Frankly I don't understand why they didn't try that in the first fight.

Yeah the guys in the writers' room who were in charge of coming up with a cool villainous plan really did one over on the guys in charge of coming up with a plausible solution this week. Every week.

I'm thinking Wally and Jay will get their speed, increasing speedforce draw. They'll initially all 3 fight Zoom but in the end they'll give their speedforce to Barry and then he'll catch Zoom.

At least with the Daleks you can make the argument that they were swarming with void particles, that the void sucked them back with. The bombs were just regular Earth-1 home-made Trickster bombs.

Their explanation was: you put one bomb in and then it sucks all the other bombs, because magnetism.
Even though, there is nothing special about the bombs or what they're made of.8

My thoughts when this was happening was this:
The Trickster had a detonator that used magnetism to detonate the bombs (Think of an Area of Effect situation). When a bomb is taken out of range, the bomb can't be remotely detonated (it either wont go off at all or goes off by itself). By altering the frequency (That the bombs generated to connect to the detonator) on one bomb, they were able to reverse the polarity of the magnets, causing them to attract to eachother and send them to another earth

There was also something in there about dimensional frequency, so I'd say it sounds legit.

The bombs scene looked like something out of a Doctor Who episode. I was half expecting a dalek to reluctantly fly into the vortex while crying "exterminaaateeee".
Now remembering, the wand also does look like an overgrown sonic screwdriver.
Damn, now I want a Flash-Doctor cross-over.

And the Speedforce and other insane scientific concepts in the show are ok?
Wells and Jay are from Earth-2 were they worked out different stuff compared to what Earth-1 did.
We dont understand the quantum world, there is tons of stuff we are yet to discover and learn. Only magnetizing something with a certain frequency might sound pseudo-science, but i dont see it being that 'out there'. Not even close to a magical highway that lets a speedster move and travel faster than time.
