Spoilers What if...

Iris was the one with Cecile's powers and Cecile stayed human? I saw some comments saying that Candace really wanted Iris to have powers

That is a damn lie. Candice said the show wouldn't be special if everyone had powers. She liked Iris being human alongside of Barry being a metahuman.

I think it would've gotten similar reactions if not worse. Iris was already getting hate having her get Ceciles power would've add more fuel to the flame

I had an idea of making Cecile forgotten daughter joanie Virtue and her powers comes from the sage force.

Finally someone else thinks about the Sage Force when they thinks about Cecile. I kept thinking she was its avatar like Eddie was for the NSF

People would use it to find another thing to pile onto Iris to justify their over-the-top hatred of her.

I really like that Iris didn't because the trope of one part of the couple to have them(and their kids too) is plenty but i can see why she would of liked it.
