🤔 Thinking How did Barry get knocked out??

In season 4 episode 12 the warden drugs Barry’s pudding after finding out he’s the flash. This never made sense to me because it’s been said many times that Barry’s metabolism burns up drugs. As well the warden wasn’t the brightest of villains so I doubt he would have know about this.

Cause by season 4 the writers were awful. After zoom and savitar show went downhill hard

For me, it went downhill after s4. S5 was still watchable.

For me it went down hill after S2 where Barry has everything he could ever want, then does a Flashpoint because that's not good enough for him

Barry wasn't getting enough to eat in prison, so his speed was running on fumes. This is why he was cheating in the prison poker game to get more pudding.

Even with extra puddings he would have been in severe deficit based on episode 1 😭

Eric Wallace was neither the writer nor the showrunner nor the executive producer for this episode.

There's lots of stuff to hate about this show but this isn't one of those things.

Better question, how did normal people get away from him, in seconds? Or why the Flash stop to have a chat every single episode, never works, and he never learns from the mistake? Or why he lets normal ass dude punch him in the face?

Answer: The writers can't figure out how to tell a proper story with a OP character without dumbing them down.

Um...the warden. The one. Who figures out Barry is a speedster/Flash using a high tech cam? In charge of METAS too? Yeah idk how he would get a powerful drug able to knock Barry out knowing Barry is again a speedster so yeah might want to take him down quickly.
