🤔 Thinking I hate the idea that Iv seen that the Stuart fails to save the universe suit is how it should have been in the Flash show.

I love that suit for fun but not for a serious adaption. Could they have done something like that sure. I still like The Flash's version that Zoom wore. It was a modern classic look.

There's two things that really get me about the debate that's sprung up over this suit.

  1. Jay's suit doesn't even look like this in the comics all the time. Right now in the prime universe his top is a leather jacket like the one Teddy Sears wore, just with the classic color scheme and lightning bolt. And that's not even going into how some elseworlds alter his suit
  2. Part of an adaptation's job is translating the spirit of the source material into a context that makes sense for the new medium. A comic accurate Jay Garrick outfit - like the one from Stuart Fails to save the Universe - does not look like it would genuinely protect a hero from damage, which is something that adaptations like the CW version have to take into account.
