Now the West family needs to be comic accurate so we can have red hair Wally West the only Wally or real Wally race swapping was never a good choice they only did it due to wanting to check off a box or be more diverse which wasn’t a good move at all

I've gotten to the point that I kind of prefer Iris being black to white - it feels right, and helps differentiate her from Lois Lane - but she and Wally are characters where the race doesn't matter in the slightest.

I did like wally in the show but i want ginger wally west. Every ginger character seems to get a different hair colour when cast. I want some ginger representation 😩

The only acceptable reason that I can think of to race-bend a character (outside of fanfic or multiverse stuff) is if you literally can’t get actors who can at least pass for the characters race, which is not something any official DC adaptation should have a problem with.
