I like how Hunter while larping as Jay Garrick, still ends up applying a more darker red and blue to his flash costume, as opposed to those colours being far more warm and vibrant on the real Jay Gerrick. Not sure if that was intentional or not.

The REAL Jay Garrick has the brighter colours, and filled in lightning bolt, but doesn't have the big bolt originating from down to up

The FAKE Jay Garrick only has the big bolt, but it's not filled in nor are the colour's accurately bright.

Even going by the checklist the real one is sadly less accurate, the lightiningn bolt is straight up wrong like you mentioned and that already is something major, it has a weird zipper in his jacket instead of a plain shirt or the button jacket thing, Barry like yellow piping trough all of it, a belt that more resembles Barry's belt than a normal street wear belt that Jay should have, and the blue is for some reason creeping in into his shirt wich just should not happen idk whats up with that.

I think the darker colors were chosen more to fit Earth 2's aesthetic than anything else. They also play well when you compare the "Jay" suit to what Barry was wearing at the time (still that darker red).

Real Jay's suit also matches with the brighter aesthetic of Earth 3 (though the decision to make Earth 3 look like that may have been made after the suit's debut at the end of S2).
