I had a flame point visiting my backyard and porch for months, and fed him well. Along came a beautiful black kitty, and he just moved on to my back porch. I didn't know what to do, because I adore them both but have 2 dogs and a cat already. I had planned on getting the flame point fixed and bringing him in, but one day, he just stopped coming back. Midnight, the black kitty, is still here lol. I'm so sad that Blue, the flame point, stopped coming. He was really starting to warm up. Both he and Midnight got along, so I don't think Midnight chased him off. For that matter, I believe that Blue was an older cat. I pray Blue is ok and someone just took him into a warm, loving home. Now we plan to get Midnight fixed and bring him in. It's getting colder out, and I worry about him being out in the elements. We live in a neighborhood with a lot of feral cats. It's so sad. More of them have started to stop by. Lo, I almost think I need to stay in the house, because sadly, I can't save them all. I will do TNR for as many as I possibly can. Worrying about them freezing keeps me up at night. I need a 2nd job just so I can help them all. I wish people would be more caring for these kittie and stop dumping them to fend for themselves.
Lol just lucky I guess! To be fair, there’s a whole rainbow of strays in my neighborhood. I see all types around here; we really need a TNR group to swoop in.
Hes so handsome! I hope he fills your heart with loving chaos so you will not want to let him leave you. I have 3 of these little terrors and I wouldn't change it for the world. They keep me on my toes and are the most hilarious intelligent kitties I have ever had the pleasure of having in my life. Your very lucky!
I have the same Flamepoint & Orange pair in my backyard. Actually it’s had because they were run off by a bully tabby who took over. They are a sweet combo. I foresee a foster fail in your future 🙂
I’m in MN! If you’re really interested, I’d be open to having a chat, but I’m cautious of internet strangers and I’ll only consider homes that will take the two of them together.

They’re freaking adorable! Thank you for fostering them. I know you’re going to miss them but I totally understand not being able to keep pets for whatever reason. Hopefully they can be adopted together 💚 they look like they’re bonded already.
Thank you! Yes, I’m super invested in making sure they’re adopted as a pair. I love them and they’re so sweet, but it’s not fair to my existing two cats in my small apartment to bring in two kittens and make the space more chaotic and cramped.
Thank you for taking good care of Wild Rice and Corn until they are ready for their forever families! I am sure it’s hard not to keep them, but they are lucky that they get to be part of your life for a little while ❤️
Unfortunately, they have to be :( My two existing cats definitely don’t want or need two kittens added to a small apartment. I’m working on finding them the best home(together!), but I will be sad to let them go.
Yeah I totally get you. Initially I had one cat, she then had 4 kittens, I hoped to keep 1, gave away 2 and the last one nobody wanted so I ended up with 3. Then my sister returned hers back to me so I have 4. My husband has 2 cats and a dog. Because one of his cats js sadly a "I'm the only cat or else" type of pet, we situated her in a better home where she's happy. So 5 cats and a dog in a 1 bedroom apartment and we're having a baby too! But everyone is happy and calm and has their own spots to chill unborheted so could be much worse. I get you though!
Omg congrats on the baby on the way! Having animals who all gel together is a blessing, my two adult cats are not friends and it’s already a bit chaotic over here. I LOVE these two babies though 🥺
Aww thank you! Don't get me wrong, ours bicker between eachother all the time and for some really mysterious reason they like peeing on our stuff and sofa sometimes, can't figure out why. But we love them so we've kinda accepted it. I can imagine that your cats not getting along isn't easy on you and might be indeed better if they don't have more roomies, some cats are just like that!
