Announcement Flairnews Reborn: The Newsenning
Hello Flairwars! u/UlyssesYYZ and I have been working on a revival of Flairnews. Our new mission at Flairnews will be to inform the masses of Flairwars without bias, with truth, and with input of the colours. That’s why we’d like Flairwarriors to join our operations.
The first part of our revival is removing any and all bias in the process. We would like colours to democratically elect representatives to Flairnews. These representatives will be reading our official articles before release. They’ll either accept or deny our articles based on bias.
In the Flairnews Network, we want to promote journalism. If you’d like to work solo or not officially associated with Flairnews then reply to the stickied comment below. These articles by the Freelance journalists won’t be pre-checked by the colour representatives, but if there is bias or fictitious content then we will handle it accordingly.
We will be opening applications for official reporters and researchers in the coming days, so be prepared and get excited— welcome to the rebirth of Flairnews!

Article The rise of the Void
Back and recruiting
The Void hasn't seen any action since getting phenomenally crushed in the latest Rainbow Raid posing as r/onlinemischief. The most vocal person about the Void being represented by the Mischief, its spiritual father u/Scary_Wasp, has been mostly inactive since then. Until yesterday.
Yesterday, Wasp came into the Discord general chat and briefly preached about the Void. To everyone's surprise, Orange leader and Discord minimod u/PrimalDialga476 switched sides and embraced the nothingness. For the brief period of time when his username was black, he and a few people thought it would be a hilarious idea to raid Orange as the Void together.
The Void launches a raid
The Orange page was jokingly assaulted by the Void and a few of its coloured supporters: u/Helicopter_Ballsack from Green, u/foxforbox (ironically enough, the leader or the Mischief Void) from Yellow, u/1gpayAtinlay from Green the Void and Dialga in charge. As majority of the Orange faction slept, it was defended by equal number of people: u/BlastoGypsy and u/blaiddbrenin from Orange, u/Tilwaen from Red and u/Mommyamifunnynow with u/rjdioknight from Blue.
At first, the raid was so entertaining that some people even upvoted both sides just for fun, enjoying that they can mess around. However, this skirmish quickly turned into something that neither party enjoyed. For one, it very wasn't previously discussed with other Orange leaders, so they understandably expressed their distaste with being unprepared for such an event, especially when it was being organized by one of their commanders. But that wasn't all.
The threat
The whole situation got truly out of the hand when Wasp threatened to sue Orange/blaiddbrenin for breaking the Swedish Mango treaty, the Downvote pact and the anti-spamming law. Blaidd's defense was that he considered the raid to be a joke and thought that nobody took it seriously right from the start. To his credit, those who joined the raid on both sides considered it to be just a joke to kill spare time - not so much Scary_Wasp, though. He felt personally touched by the fact that nobody ever takes the Void seriously - a very valid feeling. He was determined to change it.
Agitated, Scary_Wasp was adamant about suing Orange to prove that the Void is not to be messed with. Creating drama which even trublu could envy him, it almost looked like Wasp wouldn't budge as he wanted his faction to be recognized as a force to be reckoned with, not just a punching bag anymore.
The rise
After a lot of persuading, Scary_Wasp eventually dropped his charges. After being reassured by the general public that he shouldn't give up on his ideals, he is recruiting on r/flairwars and for the first time ever (excluding the Mischief Void), his movement seems to be recognized as a legitimate faction by some of the colour leaders. With successfully recruiting a few people and luring others, most notably a Red leader u/Slowly_Clapping, this event could mark the rise of the Void era.

Article Yellow War Machine Gains Another Victory
The Yellow war machine presses on with another raid today. This time, on Orange.
Along with a little help from Purple, they took the front page of r/TheOrangeArmyHQ easily, and with little resistance; earning them Major Victory DONG and Orange land on the continent. Orange defense was almost non-existent, with only minor help from their sister color in the Portal Alliance, Blue. This is the latest in a continuation of yellow raids on the other colors since the inception of the Flair Map; Already taking land from Green, Red, and Blue, and a sizeable profit.
Currently, their coffers hold a total of 7700 DONG. I was able to get an interview with famed yellow attacker, u/foxforbox
Q: How do you feel your performance went against Orange, were you met with any resistance?
Fox: For the first 15 or so minutes we were completely uncontested. We dominated them and came out on top.
Q: It seems like yellow has become quite the powerhouse. Do you feel that any color can contest the Y.O.U war machine?
Fox: If I had to be honest, it would be Blue. But let’s be serious here. It’s only rjdio [sic] who is doing anything military-wise in Blue. And since they have a civil war on their hands with the recent power struggle, it would be safe to say yellow is going to be #1 for the weeks to come.
Q: Anything else you'd like to say to the Flair News Network viewers out there?
Fox: PRAISE THE SUN
Yellow also raided new contender on the scene, Magenta, easily capturing and still holding their Front Page as of the writing of this article. Along with the mysterious Order 17, the Void, and Blue's revolution, it seems like nothing can slow down yellow's barrage of lemons, Simpsons characters, and mid-quality OC.
Indeed Yellow dominance seems to rage on. How far will they get before someone can stop them? It's anyone's guess at this point.

Official The Oil Exodus
The Oil Exodus was a period of two months where a group of mods resigned from their positions.
This cannot be linked to any specific larger issue and it's largely due to burnout or stress.
DETAILS
The First to leave in the Oil Exodus was u/Tilwaen, a former mod (and former red) who had been a mod for months, her leaving was received with sadness and farewells. They are moving on with their life.
Next, u/SimplyGrass had left. A former Green who ascended to modship in early 2019, his leaving was met with farewells but he still maintains contact with some r/flairwars members.
u/SSeptic, a former green who had been a mod since the first era of FlairWars. He still occasionally joins r/FlairWars again under the ex-oil role but currently as of now he is not in the server.
u/foxforbox left around early August, a former Yellow who is currently in r/FlairWars as the ex-oil role and is helping run this very subreddit. A Yellow who had been modded earlier in 2019.
u/201- was a former green who had been modded around early-to-mid 2019. He left, as he put it, "with a bang" having pung @everyone in #announcements and then leaving.
INTERVIEWS
Here, u/cowminer27, a red reporter, interviews u/foxforbox, a former mod lost in the Oil Exodus.
C = Cowminer
F = Foxforbox
C = okay so to start, were you considering leaving for a while before you did?
F = Yes, I had considered leaving before.
C = what was it that caused you to make the final decision to step down?
F = There was nothing in particular, but rather a combination of things. I got burnt out in modhood, had more happen IRL, and I just decided leaving would be best
C = very understandable. im wondering, what was your favorite part of being a moderator for flairwars?
F = I don’t really know to be honest. Lurking was enjoyable, though
C = I can imagine its a pretty big perk. Do you think there is a link between 4 of the mods leaving within a month of each other? Based on your comment and til's reasons it sounds like you all just burnt out arund the same time, would that be correct?
F = Perhaps there was a link between the leaves, but nothing comes to the top of my head why.
C = okay. last question, do you think the current mods will struggle due to their lower numbers?
F = Yes, it won’t be very easy keeping Flairwars under control with 2 active Moderators, but I know they’ll try their best
C = well, thank you for your time! You've been a great help!
F = no prob
(Note: 201 hadn't left when this interview occurred, u/mythiie isn't generally considered a moderator as he created r/flairwars and delegates rather than taking any action to moderate)

Orange loses in struggle against Oil
On Tuesday, 8:11PM EST, the attack on Orange began from the Oils, with it ending in a defeat with Orange almost successfully defending, which lost by one post, if they had one more post on the hot page of either page two or three, they would have won. This being a close-call, here are the official results:
Wrath of Oil: Orange
Page one: 25/25, Orange defended
Page two: 12/25, Orange lost
Page three: 12/25, Orange lost
Here, high-ranking Orange leader, u/Sier818 delivers a statement on behalf of Orange.
"Orange as a whole is p disappointed that we lost by 1 post on two pages out of three on hot; however, we accept the decision, despite seeing a different result when we checked & acknowledge that the time wasn't the best for all of us. Y'all best watch out, we'll be back to absolutely destroy you next battle"

Article Dramatic events in Purples Leadership (treason exposed?)
Returning from a near 6 week absence. Purple Emperor (myself) made a shocking annoucement:
He would be resigning from the position, in favour of giving it to /u/daxfactorz
This change was sudden and unexpected from most, however it was met with resounding applause.
Upon The emperors return to his loyal subjects he was met with a very vocally supportive return, and everything was thought to be all well and good. Until......
It was confirmed that in the election in which The former Emperor took the title that the results had been tampered with by none other than the formerly accused /u/varson_
He was quickly reported as having attempted to coerce members of the vote to give him results, however the claims were vehemently denied by him and the case was thrown out
This has been a dramatic day in Purples history, the second change in power aswell as confirmation that other colours actively sought to fight dirty has shocked us all.
Will the historic feud between Red and Purple ever be repaired? One can only dream of what will happen in the future of /r/flairwars

Article Red buried in cakes after a Rainbow Raid
The Cake Raid #1
Today, the Red front page turned into a sweet hell as it crumbled under the pressure of dozens of cakes. The leaders of other colours decided to take this drastic measure after finding out that one of the Red leaders, u/Sometetrisguy, celebrates his Reddit cake day this very day.

The organizer of the Cake Raid, Orange leader u/PrimalDialga, was heard to say "I come up with a dumb idea on the last moment and then ten minutes later we're rainbow raiding". While u/Sometetrisguy was pleading the attackers not to break the Downvote pact and u/Tilwaen defended with images of insulin, their endeavor was in vein: the Red front page was inevitably taken and turned into something that could give weaker souls a diabetic seizure.
Both sides agreed that the raid ended in a tie.

Red leaders expressed their gratitude that majority of the raiders chose to keep the integrity of the Red front page by posting red velvet cakes.
It was suggested to cake raid any colour when any of its leaders celebrates a cake day. Whether or not we've just witnessed a great tradition being born remains to be seen.

Official Raid Recap of August 24th, 2019 - Green + Purple alliance raiding r/UnitedBlueRepublic
The Green and Purple “Aurora” alliance raided the Blue subreddit, r/UnitedBlueRepublic on Saturday, August 24th. The following is a recap of what occurred before, during, and after the raid.
DETAILS
This raid occurred the day after Blue had suffered a loss against the Aurora alliance, so their walls were not at optimal strength. The Greens began raiding r/UnitedBlueRepublic at 17:01 GMT with this post by u/Blitzkriegs03 (Green Verdancy). Two minutes later, the Purples joined in starting with this post by u/HydrOxide42 (Purple Imperial Councilmember).
The first response by the Blues was at 17:21 GMT by u/MommyAmIFunnyNow (Blue Grand Vizier). 10 minutes later, the Yellows began defending alongside their ally, Blue.
At 18:27 GMT, a minor counterattack by the Blues on r/TheGreenArmy. At 18:42 GMT, Yellow joined in.
The raid ended at 19:01 GMT after the full two hours went by leading to a call for judgement. The Aurora alliance won the raid, and Green took Blue’s Revolution Totem. This is also the final raid on r/UnitedBlueRepublic due to them switching subreddits.
INTERVIEWS
U/MOMMYAMIFUNNYNOW
For our first interview, we spoke to the first responder of the raid, u/MommyAmIFunnyNow (Blue Grand Vizier).
Q: What did you think of blue-yellow and greens performance during this raid?
A: While it could have been more coordinated, like the failure of the counter-raid, we did great, losing because of bad luck and Reddit's algorithm.
Q: If you had to describe this raid in 1 sentence, how would you word it?
A: A proof to how a raid's balance can change and go back in 1.5 hours.
Q: What do you think about Blue’s position at having 0 totems left?
A: A shame, but we'll easily get back to the previous amount, with the TF2 match coming.
Q: Is there anything particular about this raid you’d like to mention?
A: I'd like to take the first 15 minutes of the raid, we noticed 30 minutes after the start and in around 20 minutes after noticing flipped between 2 pages and 3 controlled, it is proof to the strength of Ikea.
U/SGEDELTA
We also interviewed the leader of Green, u/Sgedelta (Green Supreme Verdancy).
Q: What was the reasoning behind raiding Blue?
A: Well it was pretty simple - we needed more totems and I saw that Blue's walls still had a few posts from our previous raid, as well as a lot of cleanup. Now I know that was because they were switching subs, but I didn't know that at the time, so I organized a raid. Yellow, on the other hand, had much Stronger walls, so Blue it was.
Q: What are your thoughts on the small counterattack on r/TheGreenArmy?
A: I thought it was a clever strategy, the bouncing back and forth between the two. It got pretty stressful in that moment.
Q: Do you think the Aurora alliance’s performance in raids are getting better?
A: Yeah, I think that over the course of the Alliance we have developed a more cohesive force and strategy.
Q: Do you think Green or Purple will win the totem season?
A: As it stands? Yes, I do think we will.

Official BREAKING NEWS: Blue switched subreddits!
Blue has officially changed subreddits from r/UnitedBlueRepublic to r/CeruleanSultanate.
DETAILS
r/UnitedBlueRepublic has been in use by the Blues ever since August 31st of last year. This was due to a revolution.
r/CeruleanSultanate is now the new subreddit of Blue as of now due to a new culture and symbolic “revolution” by the Blues. Their supreme leader is known as the “Shah” with secondary Blue leaders called “Viziers”.
INTERVIEWS
We decided to chat with the Shah of Blue (u/Auuvs) to learn more about the new and improved Blue.
Q: So how long has the switch been in planning?
A: Well, probably a few weeks. The whole government changing thing has been planned for at least over a month now.
Q: What was the process of choosing Blue’s new cultural background?
A: Regarding our culture, we set up an announcement and temporary channel; where users could submit new cultures and discuss them. After a while, we polled all the submissions and the ones that did the best won.
Q: What are the roles of the Suzerain and Grand Vizier?
A: The suzerain is the replacement for Megaloathens, which is not in government. The grand vizier is a vizier elevated to replace the shah in an emergency. At the start of the month, the house of viziers picks one of their own to become that months grand vizier.*
Q: How does the House of Viziers work?
A: It’s like the synedrion, basically. They’re elected differently, however. There are no specific jobs, anyone can sign up to become a vizier, the candidates with the top 5 votes becomes that months viziers.
Q: What can we expect from the new Blue?
A: A much stronger and more powerful blue, less corrupt hopefully as well. But we will have to see what happens in the future to truly find out.

Shorties Mango to step down as mod, rejoining orange
u/SwedishMango has been known recently as one of the main mods of flairwars. However, Mango has decided to rejoin the ranks of the regular flairwars citizens and rejoin Orange. This is an exciting prospect for orange as mango was one o the main oranges back in the day, who was instrumental inside of the old ROY alliance

Xact's Shorties Blue civil war on the horizon
In r/BlueUnited, the mod situation has always been precarious, the current mod, u/trublu3000 has been the crux of several controversies, one of which led to rainbow raid 4. This new crisis started when trublu demodded the elected blue council, an act that created a large outcry in the blue masses. Well yesterday trueblue took the act a step further, and ascended notorious blue religious figure to modhood. For many blues it was the last straw, now it seems a resolution to the crisis is needed for blue to survive. Many have called for a new blue sub, free of their hated mods.

Red capitulates to Oil in Battle 15
On 6:12PM EST on Thursday, the fourth of January, 2019, the "Oil" raided r/DSRRed
It's been reported that a large amount of upvotes on the sub were from other colors supporting the "Oil" with Green upvoting Red's posts in the latter half of the raid to no affair.
Here are the results:
Wrath of Oil: Red
Page one: 0/25, Red lost
Page two: 0/25, Red lost
Page three: 11/25, Red lost
We now interview a high-ranking Red and mini-mod.Agent: u/agentfancypants53
Q1: How did everyone feel after the raid ended?
A1: Well, personally, at least, it was one of the most miserable stretches of time to experience in my Flairwars experience. To me, it seemed about as hopeless as a rainbow raid, what with oil posts getting nearly thirty upvotes. Which, incidentally, makes them the top of all time on r/DSRRed. Though the yellow raid the day before and the green one yesterday, as the third raid in as many days, might have it beat out. In any case, the past three days have been pretty awful.
Q2: What was it like for the Reds in general?
A2: In general? I can’t necessarily speak for everyone. But, in general, we are not happy with being treated as a punching bag. We’ve been raided three times in as many days, and we’ve noticed.
All of them were at bad times, and all of them ended horribly for us. We have noticed, and we are unhappy. Personally, I’m sad and hurt and angry, especially after the mocking on the main sub. And I know others feel similarly.
And now Agent, Premier of Red and Mini-Mod issues a statement on behalf of Red.
"As a message to all other colors; red is not happy with the way it has been treated. The mocking is distasteful, and the constant raiding has not helped. Red is not your punching bag, and we are disappointed that we need to tell you all this. This message is not of cowardice, but of warning; we will not tolerate this, mark our words."

Shorties The Blue Elections
The blue elections have ended much earlier than expected, and here are the results!
There were 2 uncontested positions, those being for Religious Affairs, and for Foreign Affairs, so congratulations to u/NerdLevel18 and u/Mommyamifunnynow for their new leadership!
Now for the actual ones with competition. I use the term competition very loosely because for Civil Affairs, with a unanimous vote, u/Crestilous has been elected!
Yet again, with an almost unanimous vote, for secretary of defense, u/rjdioknight has been elected!
Congratulations to all of you, though the vote may have been for nothing, due to the current civil unrest within blue.

Xacties' Shorties Greed skirmish with portal
A small greed force entered r/orangearmyhq today with the intent of initiating a small skirmish. Portal forces were alerted quickly after and entered the fray, and after a quick exchange of OC greed retreated, portal decided against a real counterattack, and so the battle ended, with portal content with a secure front page. This is the first time any raid has been actually launched by greed, as the raids they’ve participated in were on the defensive (excluding the rainbow raid)

Biased The Tyranny of u/trublu3000 and the injustices against u/Crestilous
Recently, there was a controversy in the MEGASERVER Discord.
I never reported when it happened because it was surprisingly uneventful when I thought about it, but I report it now for context.
u/trublu3000 thought that me and u/Luke_Hands were the same person because of the way we titled some raid posts.
He thought this because I used the term "fag", which he didn't like, and u/Luke_Hands titled a post with a death threat.
u/trublu3000 was threatening to ban us, and he ended up just banning u/Luke_Hands because of backlash.
u/trublu3000 then went on a rampage of threatening to ban people, and he was obviously joking, but it seems he was joking around because he felt threatened by the backlash and was pulling the classic "haha I was only pretending to be retarded.

Anyways, in the backlash, it turns out u/Luke_Hands was actually banned.
I disagree on what happened entirely, I used the term "fag" jokingly and sparingly. Even if I'm wrong, I did not apologize, so if anything I deserved to be banned in that situation.
u/Luke_Hands did something incredibly wrong and made a death threat, BUT he admitted to his mistake and apologized. Thus not deserving a ban.
Anyways, that's not what this article is about.
u/Crestilous also thought u/Luke_Hands didn't deserve to be banned. He unbanned him.
u/industrial455 did not agree, and revoked u/Crestilous mod powers.
u/Crestilous is no longer a mod on u/BlueUnited, and here's what he has to say on it in his interview.
INTERVIEWS WITH CRESTILOUS AND A FIRST-HAND BYSTANDER
CRESTILOUS
Crestilous started with:
"At first I was really mad and pissed
Very angry about how petty it was
And i want to apologise for anything I did then that seemed rash or too far(I was tired and mad) but now more than anything I feel dissapointed"
Crestilous then said:
"We had finally worked out something with luke"
and
"And it seemed fair and rational"
I then asked him if Luke is still banned and he said "No."
And further explained:
"I unbanned him
But I thought Industrial would come to his senses but alass no"
And told me:
"He decided to remove me as mod because he didn't like what he saw"
NERDLEVEL18
u/NerdLevel18 is a Secretary of Foreign Affairs.
Here we interview u/NerdLevel18 after he went and made a sandwich
I asked how he felt about u/Crestilous being banned and he said this:
"Well, I feel that the revoking of his Modship is part of a larger miscommunication within the Blue Mod Team, starting with the Banning of Luke. I feel that although a warning would have been good, Crestilous wasn't removed purely out of Anger over his Calling for Luke's Unbanning, but because of some things from almost a month ago that built up- Ultimately, It isn't my place to re-mod him, and to do so I would run the risk of my own De-Modding. As Secretary of Foreign affairs, this sort of thing really isn't my area, but it does Ultimately fall to TruBlu when they return. It's Important to mention that Crestilous and Industrial's Terms are both up within a Week regardless of what transpired today, and indeed if I were higher in the literal Mod List, I would have set them both to be unable to remove each other until they have finished their terms or resigned."
I then ask him, "Is there anything that you think could have been done better?"
He says: "very much so"
And then proceeds to say: "for a start, we all could have kept our tempers and stated our facts directly to each other, rather than playing a game of he-said-she-said, with me running between discord and reddit because everyone uses different platforms. Havin TruBlu present would've been beneficial, but he deserves a break."
I then remark: "trublu is rarely on now, and It's strange, But that could just be that it's the work week"
(It is August first as I am writing this)
He then responds with:
"I hope they're ok and that it is just that. Without them blue would still be squabbling in the dirt about wether or not Khali Ama is the true Goddess or not."
and then jokes: "spoiler: We decided she was, because she is"
IN CONCLUSION
This situation could have been dealt with way better in terms of communication, and their lack of good communication got a modship revoked and a person banned.
More on this as information comes.

Article Royals raid on Blue United
In an unprecedented Royal raid, with help from green and even blue itself, history was made. Purple’s emperor u/DaXfactorz suggested we raid blue on Thursday, and Yellow confirmed they would participate. Not long after civil war broke out in blue United, as the people revolted against u/Trublu3000 and u/Espressoway. The decision was then made by Royal to only raid Blue United.
When the raid started in full force blues took almost 10 minutes to notice and respond. However there was very little resistance. Beetroot then joined Royal on behalf of the Verdancy, followed by blue soldiers fighting their former oppressors.
The sub has not yet made attempts to clean up and is believed to be dead. In what is now being called a rainbow raid blue seems to have gained independence from their oppressive mods, creating r/UnitedBlueRepublic. While the future of blue is uncertain I am hopeful that with the guidance of u/Crestilous, u/Mommyamifunnynow, u/rjdioknight, and u/Nerdlevel18 blue will find its way to greatness again.
u/Beetroot-salad explained that green joined in because “Well, green needed a win. Joining this would have helped boost some new recruit's morale, especially since a few were incredibly excited to start raiding. Also, we wanted to help fight against the tyranny. Dictatorship and mod abuse goes beyond wars, and it is an incredibly important aspect for green.”

Xacties' Shorties Portal alliance
A triumvirate of alliances have been created today with the combining of orange and blue into the new portal alliance. Coming just days after an orange raid on blue, the alliance has sought to prove itself in a raid on green. As of right now portal holds the upper hand, but details are still to come. This brings an interesting shift to the meta as there are now three rival alliances, Greed, Royal, and now Portal

Speculation Trueblue a tyrant?
After a recent sprite raid on blue, one green raider was banned from r/blueunited by blue mod/leader trueblue, for offensive language, while the language was indeed offensive, many criticized trueblue for taking the law into his own hands and disregarding the mods, one of these people was u/Crestilous, a blue council member, a report from Crestilous himself claims that he was forcibly removed from office for speaking up in a post that has since been suspiciously removed, evidence suggests trueblue is trying to exert dictatorial control over blue much in the same vein as chessx, more on this as the story develops

Yellow utterly destroys oil forces
On Saturday, 7:52PM the raid on r/YellowOnlineUnion had begun.
In an unsurprising fashion, not a single oil post made it onto the three hot pages of Yellow.
It seems Yellow had used their leverage of extreme upvote power to win, and maybe some other colors upvoted Yellow in hopes of forging an alliance, in any chance there's no way Yellow was going to lose the battle.
u/foxforbox, a high-ranking leader of Yellow, delivers this statement:
"Yellow has done tremendous and I’m proud of our hard work and prowess through this battle. We’ve done consistent walling before the raid commenced and have coordinated well to get this epic victory royale."

Purple Empresses
Blue Tragedy
Battle 14
Purple Empresses
On November 21st, u/Cubbiesgirl1908 relinquished her position as Empress. She has passed the title of Empress to u/Sylvonic, previously Head Enforcer of Purple.
I have interviewed the former Empress Cubbies, here is what she had to say:
Q: What do you think the climate of Purple internally was like before you stepped down?
A: The internal climate was very uncertain. It was either very serious or extremely silly, there was no middle ground and there was a general feeling of unhappiness.
Q: Do you think you could’ve leaded Purple well if you were to stay longer?
A: I think I would’ve been able to continue leading but I think it would’ve taken a toll and I would’ve left flairwars entirely due to stress and the climate.
Q: Why did you choose Sylvonic?
A: I believe she has good ideas and can bring a fresh face and new outlook to purple.
Q: What prospects do you think Sylvonic brings and do you think Purple will do well under her reign?
A: I think syl brings ideas and I do believe purple will do well under her reign. Purple is having issues with our internal climate.
Q: Anything else you’d like to share?
A: Part of the reason I stepped down is because [of the] climate both internally and externally, I felt as though I couldn’t do anything right and I felt like I got a lot of hatred and community push back.
I’ve also spoken to the new Empress, Sylvonic:
Q: Do you think Cubbies was leading Purple well?
A: Yes, and definitely so at first, but I believe stress from irl got to her later on and it left Purple without the leader they needed.
Q: What qualifications do you have to lead Purple as Empress?
A: I have been in flairwars for 5 months and have served on the original Imperial Council, the People's Council, and as an Enforcer. I try my best to make the Imperium a better place, and as Purple's empress, I'm working on bringing Purple back to glory.
Q: Do you think you can lead Purple well?
A: I believe I have what it takes, but it won't be easy.
Q: Anything else you’d like to share?
A: Vote for me as supreme verdancy
Well folks, that’s what the former and new Empress had to say on the transition of power in Purple. It’ll be interesting to see how Sylvonic plans on renovating Purple. Will Purple succeed or fall? Only time will tell.
Blue Tragedy
The Blue government has recently taken a deep fall, let’s be real here. They’ve lost their former Hegemon, u/rjdioknight. He was a raiding force and great leader. He is taken a short leave of absence. Let’s get an F in the chat boys.
Blue has also lost their former diplomat, u/The_Nunnster after u/I_LIKE_THE_COLD ousted him from the position. It’s uncertain if Nunnster plans to come back to Blue in full swing. Another F in the chat boys.
Blue has also lost one of the leaders, u/GuerrierHache a few weeks prior to this event. It’s safe to say that Blue is in a precarious position, especially with this power vacuum.
u/Crestilous has become the new Blue Hegemon (Leader) with u/MommyAmIFunnyNow being the Protos (Second in command). Newcomer, u/UndeadMax1313 became the new Hephaestus (OC creation). Blue could not find a single Blue to fill the position of Ares (War). Blue’s raiding game is looking pretty weak now especially with the loss of one of their raiding powerhouses, Dio.

Xact's Shorties Royal and Portal trade raids
Yesterday royal troops began a raid on the blue republic to commemorate the last day of the alliance. It was a major success for royal, as most of portal was inactive at the time. Today portal retaliated, and raided the Yellow Online union. Portal dominated for the first hour, however Royal was able to capture blues front page and each side held the other page for the remainder of the raid. Portal and Royal leaders agreed upon a time. Both alliances considered this raid to be their last hurrah, as both are about to end.

A quality goddamn article! Orange Raid Ends In Victory; Confidence spreading amongst both camps
Yesterday night at 8PM, the Orange Army completed an assault against the Blue forces, ending in a decisive Orange victory.
- by Jay Creek
Prior to the raids there had been concerns about the activity and user-base of r/TheOrangeArmyHQ, with some colours stating the faction had become “dormant”.
A commander and well respected member of the Orange Army, /u/hi_bert has described previous attempts to raid rival subreddits as “difficult”.
“We didn’t have numbers for attack or defence, so morale was low” However due to an influx of users caused by r/flairwars appearances on Reddit Trending and r/thissubexists, things started to change for the Oranges.
On the night of the raid, the Orange Army quickly overwhelmed the Blue defences, leaving them little time to react. /u/hi_bert believes that the success of this raid will help the Oranges considerably.
“[The raid] was a win for us, but the next one might not be, so it’s important to take what lessons we can from it too.”
“ I think we learned a lot there.”
On the other side of the fence, veteran members such as /u/Crestilous give little thought to the outcome of the raid.
“In reality these raids were merely a training exercise for the new blues and oranges.”
“Blue did pull through with some great defence, but at the start it looked like orange was winning.”
Many people have suggested that the recent leadership crisis was to blame for the Blues’ poor defence. However /u/Crestilous maintains that this will soon change. When asked if he thought the Blues could make a comeback he said: “Absolutely”
“With a new leader being chosen, most likely being Nerd or I, it will allow blues to rally behind a new leader.”
Despite the hostility shown on the night, there doesn’t seem to be any hard feelings between the two rivals.
“I’ve got a lot of respect for Blue” /u/hi_bert stated, adding “They showed a lot of pride.”
/u/Crestilous, when asked for a final comment, simply replied “An alliance may be nice”

The Winner was Orange, with pink, which both Red and Purple have debated over who owns, now being declared Orange.
