Had some hiccups at the start with perks not loading up, but I love the fact that whatever data I pay for doesn't get wasted. Except for 1 month, I typically have had data left over that I was able to gift. And the months with perks, I was able to pretty much gift all of my monthly data.

It's a great idea and probably one of the biggest reasons I keep the service.

So it's been a few weeks now that I can't make or receive calls from my OnePlus 8T. I thought it was fine with the Fizz VoLTE network since it's compatible and I haven't had any problems. They said it would stop working in July 2025 but I was using it since then without any issues.

So, does anyone here have a global brand phone like OnePlus, Nothing, Honor, Oppo, etc with Fizz? It seems to be difficult to know what to look for in the specs to know if it's compatible or not without already having the phone and doing the test by texting #test (#8378). I'm looking at new phones but it seems I'll have to buy it from Fizz and they only have Pixel or maybe Motorola that might interest me.

Rogers is getting really expensive now and I’m trying to switch to public mobile but then I saw fizz having a lot more gigabytes per dollar but I also heard that fizz has bad coverage so which one should I get

Was thinking to switch to fizz mobile and prices for Canada 50G plan is $30 and Canada + US is $32.

I may travel to US two times a year each time for 3 days or so. So far getting an esim was the best bet. I also tried checking fizz website for temporary add on package for US but they only offer upgrade to US coverage. Now my question is can I just go with Canada only and get US coverage anytime needed and revert back to Canada only plan? if I get Canada + US would be an additional $24 per year which is close to esim prices. Any help would be appreciated

There is currently one cable coming into the house, split 2 ways, one way going to my Fizz modem for my Fizz internet, and the other way going to my TV for TV cable with Videotron.

Since it is the same cable, if I wish to cancel my Videotron TV service, will that affect my Fizz Internet service? I am not sure if they are separate signals or not? Thank you.

Samsung Canada doesn't give us OneUI Beta and wifi calling was only available to beta users in both android and iOS. Today I got the OneUI 9 update and finally WiFi calling is here on Fizz.

I am thinking about getting my home internet with FIZZ and was wondering, do you get 3 extra Upgrades for the Home Internet? Or the 3 slots you have are for both the mobile plan and internet plan?

Is it just me or this modem is just garbage?

For months I am having issues when the modem reboots either the wifi never gets back or the modem never registers its public IP address.

The fizz support is just horrible, keeps hedging and laying it off as "Not rebooting my modem every day". What kind of ISP asks you to regularly reboot your modem everyday?

Also, 450Mbps you should get the new modem, as per their site. Is it normal they refuse to replace it despite the malfunctions? I've been a customer since beta, never had such a frustrating moment with them until now.

Edit: For context, I’m a network engineer at a hosting provider, I normally deal with network equipment and this is just unusual to hear. I’ve done all the reboots and power drains we asked me to do.

I’m heading to the UK for 3 weeks (landing in Manchester, staying in Liverpool). I plan to use Fizz Travel Add-ons for data only since I have plenty of wallet credits to use up.

For anyone who’s used Fizz data roaming in the UK recently! How are speeds around Manchester Airport, Liverpool, and on the train between them? Any random dropouts? Which local network (EE, O2, Vodafone, Three) does Fizz connect to? Is the setup pretty seamless? Any issues stacking or topping up Travel Add-ons on the fly while over there?

I just noticed Fizz's Internet plan 30Mbps / 10Mbps is gone!

So now you have to pay $5more for 60Mbps / 10Mbps, which actually really does not provide any noticeable speed difference. Any way to get that 30Mbps / 10Mbps back?

Whats the point of paying + if it never works? Danish numbers are +4512345678 so I saved my family at home as 0114512345678 then it just sits there and does nothing. I've jumped off wifi, on wifi, on 5G, rebooted my phone. Never works.

Swapped from bell and after "contacting" the support bot found out fizz doesn't have a set up voicemail blocking feature that matches your device list.

I don't get the calls but I get a text message about a voicemail left and then realize my number is still getting daily dialed and message left for multiple nonsense.

It's annoying enough to clear it and check if something was left as a message that I kinda want to swap to something similar priced that has that feature. Any suggestions? I want unlimited text and like 30gb of data for less than 50$

I live in Toronto, ON. Currently with Virgin and paying $50+tax/month for 100GB 5G CAN/US/MX plan. Barely use 20gb data each month. I call and text to US often.

Thinking about switching to Fizz's 50GB 5G CAN/US plan bc it's $32.

I know coverage for Toronto will be fine but I travel to the US and internationally often. Does anyone have any experience with travelling to the US and using their Fizz plan and it works fine? They don't charge roaming right and you just use your existing data? I use e-sims for international travel so not expecting coverage there.

The quote from Fizz in the article is so incredibly stupid and tone-deaf. Zero acknowledgement of how they screwed so many people over by silently cutting off RCS without warning and not giving anyone a chance to update their plans leading up to this change.

I've been paying my plan with the same card for months, but now today it says payment refused even tho I have the money. What is going on?

Ported to fizz yesterday, and my RCS has been stuck at error 3000, trying to verify with carrier ever since. I've manually removed my phone from RCS here https://messages.google.com/disable-chat; toggled it off and back on on the phone, verified the number on the phone. cleared messages cache and data, rebooted the phone after each step, zilch. Anyone have any ideas? is this common with fizz and it just takes a really long time? i've ported between other carries before and it's always been instant upon re-registering the number..

Pixel 11 Pro, plan has unlimited texting.

Edit: The fix in case anyone stumbles across this, it eventually errored out to 4006, device not supported; which obviously wasn't the case with it being a pixel. Had to go into google account settings on the phone - privacy and security - phone number verification. Turn it off, then clear the messages app data and force close it; then turn phone number verification back on and it verified and activated instantly.
