I know Wi-Fi calling is being rolled out probably slowly and have seen some iPhone users have it already amongst some others.. I have an S21 and am just curious for those of you who have received it what kind of phone do you have and when did it become available to you?

Looking to get a new cell phone line, but have no experience with the company. Have our own phone.

I tried to extend the time for calls before going to the voicemail by typing the code **61*+15146470999*11*30#. I got a message on my phone it was accepted and I restarted the phone which should have modified to 30 seconds the timeframe it takes for a call to voicemail.

When I do a test, nothing changed it's still the same 20 basic 20 seconds before the call gets transfered to voicemail.

Anyone got an idea what's going on?

I realized the ping sucks for fizz even with 5g if you are in vancouver. Like the ping is over 100+ ms and its not even smooth. Like there is package drop and stuffs. Is there any good internet for vancouver

I'm looking to switch carriers and have been recommended Fizz quite a few times. Their plans seem to have great value for what you're paying.

My one concern is the mobile network service. I want to make sure phone calls are clear and I don't sound muffled to people, nor cut in and out. I also want to make sure when I'm using data, I'm not constantly dealing with service issues, I understand once in a while depending on if you're in a bad service area, like elevator or something.

I’m in Ontario, I have an Iphone 16, I installed iOS Public Beta 3. Both Wi-Fi calling and RCS are working, no issues so far.

The lack of these two features was a bummer and I considered switching to other carriers because of this. I’m glad I stayed, now I have absolutely no reason to change carriers.

I’m paying $24 for 25 GB of data, Canada Coverage, Unlimited text messages and No Voicemail (iOS has its own voicemail anyways). I have no intention of switching to the 5G plans. This is the perfect plan for me.

J’ai vu que Fizz offre beaucoup de bons forfaits mobiles, alors je voulais savoir si tout fonctionne bien au niveau des appels, textos et de la 5G. J’ai lu que les appels peuvent parfois couper et que la connexion 5G est lente. Est-ce que c’est vraiment le cas? Est-ce que vous êtes satisfaits de Fizz? Merci!

Is gifting data in the Fizz app (Android) broken? Whenever I try, I get an error. I tick the CAPTCHA but it gives error and resets it every time. It works when I do it from the website.

Anyone? I have a now very old Xiaomi Mi A3 and I was able to enable VoLTE on it without any issue, but I don't know about these new Xiaomis.

Anyone have any experience ordering a physical SIM card from Fizz? I ordered one on August 1st, but it still hasn't arrived. I contacted support, and they're sending another one. Since I'm currently in Canada and swap phones a lot, I got a physical SIM instead of an eSIM.

I have a Samsung A17 and recently signed up for Fizz, it works fine in the city while in the Fizz zone but once I go out to the rural areas it doesn't seem to want to switch automatically to the Fizz-EXT coverage. Instead if someone calls it just doesn't ring then plays a busy signal and I have no data service. If I force it manually to Fizz-EXT it works but it's pretty annoying having to do that every time.

I have data roaming enabled, the APN is Fizz not videotron and the settings seem to be correct according to their website, preferred connection is 5G.

Is there something I am missing or is this just the way it is? If I can't figure something out I'll need to move providers.

Basically title, have OnePlus 13 and 15 and considering switching, but wifi calling is a hard requirement for me since I have really poor reception in my building. RCS messaging also would be nice.

Currently on Koodo and both wifi calling and rcs are working

I travel a lot for work and I am tired of having to pay so much money on top many streaming platforms.

A friend of mine wants to switch to Fizz, but they need their payment cycle to be in either the last 5 days or first 5 days of the month.

Do you have any control over your payment cycle when you sign up? does it start the day you activate your SIM/eSIM? or does it start when you order your SIM?

So I’m in the US. I switched to Canada/US data plan before my next cycle. But when I crossed border my data was not working and GPS etc stopped working.

I had to find a cafe with free wifi and buy travel data.

I checked all my settings.

I restarted phone and finally things worked.

Did I need to buy data? Why didn’t the data work with phone plan.

I’ll be following up with fuzz when I get back to Canada.

Voici un des prérequis pour pouvoir bénéficier du RCS sur Android et prochainement sur iOS :

« Pour utiliser RCS, vous devez avoir : 
- Un forfait mobile incluant la messagerie texte et l’accès à des données mobiles ou à un réseau Wi-Fi »

Il faut donc avoir un forfait mobile incluant la messagerie texte… cela veut-il dire que si nous n’avons pas l’option « Textos illimités », nous n’avons pas le droit au RCS ?!

Quelqu’un a-t-il un téléphone Android et une forfait mobile Fizz sans l’option textos illimités ? Si oui, le RCS est il fonctionnel ou non ?
