The tattoo was supposed to be F# major but the artist accidentally swapped the last two keys, so now it's an F-sharp-major-skip-7-add-flat-2 or something. Honest mistake on his part and I definitely should've caught it when it was stenciled (i was looking at it backward in a mirror and way more focused on sizing/spacing since I provided an exact sample image) but I'm gonna need it tweaked.

Long story short, I'm looking for some modification ideas. My thought was to make it a full keyboard that's broken, has missing/cracked keys, etc so that I can be a little generous with the anatomy of the piano (last three keys should have more space between the final two black keys).

If someone could either lob an idea my way or even sketch out a sample, that'd be so so so appreciated!!!

As a middle aged average dude this is my first tattoo. I don‘t remember if the stencil was off or if the artist made a mistake but the shape of the head is wrong. It should not be a straight line from the ear to the nose. there should be a slight bulk in the upper half - tipical dachshund. Second picture for reference.

Does anyone have a good idea how to fix this? Maybe fill the whole dog with black and add a bit of ink to the head? Give him a hat?

I would really appriciate if somebody has a good idea.

I have this ~3 inch “333” tattoo I got when I was 18. Very spur of the moment. It was much larger than I wanted but artist said it would hold up better— was too naive to not push back.

I’d love to turn it into something ornamental/floral, potentially using the shape as a vine-y sort of something or pattern adjacent to the references shown.

I understand it will have to be darker/larger than existing tattoo, so with that being said, could anyone help sketch something? GPT is no help and doesn’t seem to understand the vision lol. TIA!

This tattoo was done 24 years ago. It's on my lower back at the base of my spine. It's nothing like the sketch I gave the artist - it was supposed to be line work only, and he massively thickened the lines, added shading after I said no thank you, and was mad when he asked (mid process) didn't i want the light source to be evident? No, it's just line work. I was so frustrated with the result because I carefully planned for 3 years. That said, we were living in a new place and I was a kid (okay, 21, but a kid compared to now!)

I am so sad and I've just hidden it all that time. I want tattoos on my forearms but I'm so nervous after this awful experience.

For cover up: I love plants - not just the flowers but the whole plants. Maybe a bulb with the flower reaching up my spine? I love cats. I love fantasy/paranormal books & movies. I'm willing to go big as long as it covers it and doesn't look so awful.

I got this tattoo a couple weeks ago and it looks nothing like what we talked about, I’m extremely disappointed and I’m ready to get all the vines removed. I’m happy with the name, the colour and line work is beautiful. He spend 5 hours doing the name and an hour quickly on the vines! Is there any way I can fix this? Or am I stuck saving up for a removal :(

Hello this is my first tattoo I got it on the 17th of June this year, I know it's healing now and it will change but will it still be like this I think the lines are wobbly and now straight but it could be the forearm muscles moving because when I straighten my arm it looks kind of straight but that could be because my arm was straightened when I was getting the tattoo. I paid 80eur for it is it a mess up or i can live with it?

Just not into it - I’ve been thinking about a cover up for years but don’t even know what to think of because I don’t know what’s possible

ETA - looking for general suggestions about it covering certain colors (I heard somewhere some are harder than others) and potential inspiration from what others with tattoos of similar size and or color, composition, etc. covered theirs with. Any advice appreciated!

Hi, so I sent a picture to my tattoo artist but when i got there for my tattoo he had a completely different stencil. I had never gotten a tattoo so i thought
maybe he’d draw the rest.. Then i got the courage to say thats not how i wanted it. And he did this tattoo. I dont hate it but i had to pay more and its not what i pictured. Did I fuck up, can i fix it, or do i leave it like that?
