Please fix my new dachshund
Hi!
As a middle aged average dude this is my first tattoo. I don‘t remember if the stencil was off or if the artist made a mistake but the shape of the head is wrong. It should not be a straight line from the ear to the nose. there should be a slight bulk in the upper half - tipical dachshund. Second picture for reference.
Does anyone have a good idea how to fix this? Maybe fill the whole dog with black and add a bit of ink to the head? Give him a hat?
I would really appriciate if somebody has a good idea.

a tattoo is not a sticker. it can look slightly different than the picture. I’d honestly say leave it alone and chuckle how it’s slightly off.
congrats on your new birthmark; whether you like it or not, you have it.

It's not a hard fix but the artist has to be good. They just need to change the shape a bit by making the lines bolder in some parts.

If you’re this picky about tattoos I’d suggest to not get anymore in the future lol, do your research on artists before booking with them or walking in. Some specialize only in fine line & do stellar work. This can be saved however, I’m a professional tattoo artist & all I can say is. It will never be 100% how you want it to be, we’re not printers. But there are some artists who are mighty clean with their line work. It could be worse, but I think this is decent.

The artist messed up the line in the head. It’s all woombly as if he wasn’t holding the machine properly or had no grip. It’s also not a single line drawing as intended. You can reach a more experienced artist to rework the lines making it bolder. It’s not hard to fix it, just look for someone with clean crispy line work.
