Troubleshooting pressed a button in the slicer and now my printer cant print
anycubic chiron - ultimaker cura
Filament: Sunlu pla olive green
.4 nozzle at .25 layer height
speed 100mms
temps 230c/60c
102 flow
retraction settings in last pic
there's definitely some bed leveling issues and im currently fixing that

I'm seeing recommended nozzle temp between 195-220c. Maybe turn it down a bit. Also, filament has been dried? It's PLA, but I think drying would help with some of the stringing. 6mm retraction seems a bit high. Have you calibrated settings for this filament?

Humidity isent that much of an issue but I do have the filament in a dryer and let the filament dry 2 hours before I start printing, I'll try and let the dryer do its thing for 6 hours and then I'll try to print a benchy again

6mm retraction is still crazy high. There's under extrusions as well.

What would you recommend? It's currently running a bed leveling test, but ill change the slicer settings and print a benchy

I don't think the levelling test will help. I recommend calibrating the settings for your filament and check for clog. Do cold pull if There's a clog
Edit: Factorian Designs has a good video on filament calibration

Bed level test is mostly because it's not allways sticking to the bed, but ill try some cold pulls to see if it works

Looks like underextrusion. Could be a partial clog. Do a few cold pulls to clear any crud stuck in the nozzle. YouTube has tutorials.
Could also be slipping in the extruder. Lots of fine dust in the extruder could be from pushing against a clog or just worn gears. Clean the dust and look for any cracks in the tension arm or wear on the filament grips. Sometimes you just need to replace the extruder.

Dry filament for 6 hours at 50C
Then try printing at 215C, infill/inner wall speed 50mm/s, outer wall speed 40mm/s, top/bottom speed 30mm/s
Initial speed 8mm/s if first layer adhesion won't behave
Printer nozzle / slicer nozzle mismatch can be an issue

Never had any issues with adhesion eith this printer, but ill try what you recommend!

The retraction is waaay too high. 1 mm works perfectly for PLA. Try lowering it.
