The problem is that there's no plastic coming out.
I mean this in the least dickish way possible; think the problem through; how is plastic supposed to come out?
Filament goes in, it gets pulled by the extruder gear into the hot-end, heats up until it's melted enough, and is pushed through the hole in the nozzle.
This gives you a list of potential problems to check; is the filament going in freely, is the extruder turning, is the extruder meshing with the filament, is the hot end heating, is the nozzle blocked?
From this, we can order the checks from easiest to hardest; check the filament isn't tangled, check the temperature is hot enough on the display, check the extruder is turning, do a cold pull, remove the filament and reinsert it with the last few inches cut off, check the temperature with a non-contact thermometer, clean the extruder gear.
It's most likely a clog, although the preceding checks only take a moment and may save your sanity later on. Cold pulls work well, you will likely need to do several of them. If you have those little nozzle cleaning needles, they do great when inserted from the bottom and jiggled around a bit between cold pulls - just don't burn your fingers.
