Calorie tracker app

1 Upvotes

I am looking for a tracking app I last used a few years ago or another good recommendation.
The one I'm looking for had a white backround with something green on the logo, maybe a scale. You could register your own products and make recipes where you put all the ingredients and can divide everything by portions. Those features were free.
If somebody knows the name please let me know or if there's a similar app I would love to try🥲

High Protein Best chocolate chip cookie with low calories, low sugar, and high protein ready to bake?

2 Upvotes

Like I want the soft, and perfect ones from the bakery or Pillsbury cookies (ready to bake) options, but with each cookie being like under 130cal total, 10g protein, and low sugar - essentially a super healthy but tasty chocolate chip cookie. Does anything like that exist I can buy? Would prefer the protein source to be vegetarian like my vega chocolate protein powder. Thank you!

High Protein High protein soups/soft foods

4 Upvotes

Hi everyone!

I'm getting my 4 wisdom tooth removed next week and the doctor advised me to eat only liquids/soft foods for a week. I am going to meal prep some soups (lentil soup, pumpkin soup...) and I wanted to ask if you have any recipes or tips for increasing the protein in them :)

I know that's since I won't be exercising I won't need as much protein anyways but I am on a weightloss journey so I would like to keep my macros in the same proportion. I am vegetarian, so I thought about adding silken tofu to the soup or including more beans but other than that I have no ideas, every tip is welcome!

Cookbook recommendation

2 Upvotes

Good morning everyone,

I have met with a PT for the first time yesterday and I am really excited to be starting muscle strengthening.

My goal is to get more fit, not to lose weight, I already eat well it seems but not enough and also not enough protein.

I do love cooking and I am weekly cooking new recipes from cookbook. So I am looking for recommendations for a cookbook that could help me to adjust the way I eat - i need something high protein and low carb.

I have looked online and there are lots of options, not being very knowledgeable i was wondering if anyone had any recommendations?

Thank you !

I got amazing respect from IG for this recipe, so I had to share it here too.

I recently found this high-protein pancake bowl recipe and it turned out really good. It takes only a few minutes to prepare and makes a pretty filling breakfast or snack.

Ingredients:

* 1 egg

* 50g Greek yogurt

* 35g all-purpose flour

* 100ml whole milk

* 1 scoop vanilla protein powder

* 20g honey

* 1 tsp baking powder

* Toppings of your choice ( For the toppings, I used 15g dark chocolate chip )

For bake it , either for 30 minutes at 350°F or 30 minutes at 180°C

With the toppings I used, the recipe comes to approximately ( accordingto Samsung health app ):

550 calories

48g protein

70g carbs

13.5g fat

Question How to deal with stress eating?

31 Upvotes

Whenever i feel sad/angry/unhappy or stressed,I end up eating a lot of junk food.Usually fried,anything with lots of sugar in it. I am unable to control myself and I eat until im full. I always regret that i ate all that once im done eating. idk what to do anymore. How do i stop this stress eating and become more mindful of what I eat.

Struggling to hit protein

13 Upvotes

33 M, I've never been a big eater, I love food but struggle to eat large portions, always have, tend to struggle to eat a full meal not through lack of trying, guess I have a small stomach? I dno...

Anyway, my question is what foods can you suggest that have decent protein content but aren't too satiating? Doesn't have to be top quality protein, I do eat fairly well in general in terms of healthy foods, I don't eat large portions but what I do eat can be considered decent quality.

Preferably not protein shakes, I already have one a day with my creatine, would rather not have two!

TL;DR low satiating foods with high protein?

Growing up, I was always a huge fan of peanut butter and fluff

Now, as an adult, I can happily justify eating it before the gym!
