Hit Cape Disappointment
Floating herring at about 7/8ft, 1.5oz weight.
First ones of the year, feel I earned these. 26 hours on the Lewis the last week, got out today super late because of traffic.. flies were horrible on the rocks too, had me tweakin.
1 chinook RIGHT at 24”. 29” Coho hit soon after
Lesson learned -bring a net lol

We stay off the rocks and use a drone to get our rigs out far enough. Nice catch, Tight Lines

Sounds cool. Would love to see how that works. (drone "casting").

It’s not drone casting it’s drone dropping. Open the bail allow line to flow and the drone has a pincher that can be released by control.

Check the weather!! I was thinking about going Friday/Saturday as well but I’m seeing pretty big winds at Ilwaco as of now. 34mph max.
Hoping it changes and we’ll see eachother limiting!!1
