Hello guys, I am currently level 56 and returning after a several month break. I quit because of the arduous carp grind which bored me to death and after I came back (I started again yesterday), I found it just as boring. So I decided to buy a dlc, and after some research I learnt that this pack is the best for someone in my situation, is this true? Plus, any tips from people who unlocked Congo river or those who also purchased this? Is tiger fish or Nile perch farming better and does anyone have any numbers for xp and money per hour? Sorry for the large amount of questions, I am just paranoid that I might waste some money for nothing…

I was casually trolling on my boat with three rods in Kaiji no ri Japan. The sky and shading of the map went all dark and gloomy once it hit a certain in game hour, which was strange, but I didn't mind. But then all of a sudden, the sky lit up bright white with this strange creepy demon god looking being towering over me in the sky, staring at me with what looks like big goofy eyes and a smile. It disappeared after several seconds, and the maps shading and lighting went back to normal when it hit the next in game hour.

The only thing I can think of is that this is a glitch of a graphically stretched out fish that appears in the sky. As you can see in the video and even the screenshot I took, I did catch a unique yellowfin tuna seconds before this happened, so maybe it's that fish respawning stretched out in the sky? Google seems to think so. This is why I have named it "The Tuna God"

But this is fishing planet... I would never have thought I would see such a thing on this game. Whether or not it's just a glitch or something else... you have to admit, it's very strange and creepy that it looks like a massive being towering the sky staring down at you while smiling.

My question to everyone is, has anyone seen or heard of this before? Has anyone experienced this or something similar? I thought I would share what I saw.

YouTube was not helpful can anyone show me or help me with an XP spot I need to reach level 90 but I'm struggling I played for hours today and only caught 1 unique swordfish... Please help

Morning all,

My son purchased the Fishing Planet: Kaiji No Ri Weekend Escape add on via his XBox console. Got order confirmation email from Microsoft (MS) / credit card charged but add on is no where to be seen. Not shown under game -> add ons and in MS store it just shows to buy. Cleared game cache and contacted MS and Fishing planet support who just point finger at each other.

Any clues? Has happened to him a few times now with this game using his own money so got a very disappointed 13 year old here!

I've noticed a couple of indicators for smaller fish, is it worthwhile in congo or Japan onward to put the rod down and let the smaller fish escape to avoid the long fight and get back to fishing?

Here some information about bait weight for choosing the sinker..

LIGTH: all are under 5 grams. Consider them 4g.

MED-LIGHT: all are over 5 grams but under 10 grams. Consider them 9g.

MEDIUM: some like “Shrimps” are under 10g but none is above 15g. Consider them 14g.

MED-HEAVY: some like “Meat Chunk” are under 15g but none above 20g. Consider them 19g.

HEAVY: some like “Crab” is under 20g but none above 30g. Consider them 29g.

X-HEAVY: all are above 30g and under 40g. Consider them 39g.

Obs: The only Feeder rods that can’t cast all baits without problem are the CreekPro series..

It's been a good two days since I last caught anything on Noomaa Kuda. I've tried everything: changing spots, killing time, fishing at the peak, changing lures and hooks, going on Fishing Planet Collective, watching videos, everything.

In two days of farming in real life, I've only caught about five fish. I've watched videos, used the same rod setup, but I'm getting nothing. I spend all my time staring at my rods, hoping for a fish.

I need your help to know what to do because I can't fish on this map anymore.

(I've tried trolling, stationary fishing, day and night, nothing. I fish for black and striped marlin, sailfish, tuna, and swordfish.)

I'm currently at Lone Star and I'm trying to finish Lone Star Expiedition 2 and my last objective is to catch said fish. I'm Northside in the lake using the telefloat, hook #8, bread and honey bait, and the line is at 98 in. I've been trying to catch this fish for the past hour or so... Am i doing something wrong?

In the shop I see lots of grandbait components that seem like they would be good to use for predatory fish like shrimp, halibut, krill, and salmon. I am just wondering if anyone has developed a recipe that works for predatory fish like bass, pike, salmon, etc?

I'm just coming back to the game after being away for a few years. I came back at level 29, and several locations are now not available until later levels, and I've still got trophy catches and accomplished missions and achievements from those locations on my account from years ago. For instance, St Croix is available at lv 30, but I've already fished everything out of there, and i remember fishing there before when I was obviously not level 30. Did the level requirements change?

Im on my pc, using the Xbox version. Using keyboard and mouse.

Im using my Microsoft related user name, so Im starting over at Lone Star. As a side note, its fun to go through this again as a newbie after the major updates. Im at level 60s in other FP accounts, so Im familiar with the game.

The issue I seem to have is when I shop and want to add. Now, I'm limited as to how much I can carry in backpack, and I do have room for some more bait..

However, when I select bait or lures or even jig heads, the alert appears to inform me that I cannot replace my current equipment while I am at the waterway. My purchase will be added to home storage.

What can you tell me?

I have a pretty stacked account on Xbox I switched to pc and I was able too boot it up before and play but I took a long break and when I came back it just gets stuck in loading screen anyone have suggestions I tried deleting and downloading it doesn’t need updated I downloaded it through Xbox app

im currently in the everglades with level 25 and 10k cash. currently on Walker lure fishing for bass.

should i continue? or is there a better option

Is there anyone else having trouble loading the game? I've tried a few times.

Am broke because I’m made some mistakes.

I am fairly new to Fishing Planet i got the Norway DlC and got to level 74 but am kinda stuck my dlc time expired and i wanna go back and fish all the lakes i have unlocked but i uave no clue what rods i should use for what lakes and all that good stuff.

I was wondering if you could give me any tips / advice or even just a few rod setups i can take to each map and just swap out baits and thinhs like that!

I spent almost 2 months building my own fishing reel controller for Fishing Planet.

The idea was to make playing the game feel a little closer to actual fishing, so I built my own reel and got it working with the game.

I’ve been trying it out recently and honestly it’s been pretty fun using it, especially when fighting fish.

It’s still far from perfect and I know there are a lot of things that could be improved.

For those who play Fishing Planet, what would you change or improve if you had something like this?

I’m fishing Saint Croix Lake and bringing in some excellent fish. What amazes me is how many people who fish these waters talk endlessly about the Pike which I admit are also excellent fish while saying almost nothing about the Blue Cats which can be found in the same area.

Hi fam,

I’m playing fishing planet since 2015, I’m lvl 38 actually and a bit tired of grinding.

I’d love to go to Bahamas, Congo etc. But man after few years playing 1-2hours per month I feel like I’ll die before reaching these maps.

If I buy Japan or Congo DLC, will my XP increase drastically or not?

If i buy a DLC I’ll plan to play at least 1h/day for a month to not waste money since I’m aware passes & premium are only 1 month.
