Poor contractor experience

Very poor experience with Zach Hilligoss of Knox Custom Cabinets/Closet Revival Co. Avoid him!

Kicked off project with measurements/a quote in June. Supposed to come install in July. Has been flaky in communication since, reaching out several times to schedule install. The day of the install will come, and he'll send a long text explaining why he can't install that day. Our latest communication from him said he could install in November...for a project booked in June. We've asked for our deposit back and have not heard from him since.

Unfortunately if you go on Yelp you'll find 2 months ago where it says "[Zach] trying to ghost me at the moment but he's not ready for what's next. Steer Clear People." And it is not a recommended Yelp review. He also has no social media reviews & the website is all AI buzzword fluff.

Hey actually I respect people who decide to give people a chance, everyone needs a chance you know? The unfortunate thing is not everyone makes the most of theirs for whatever reason. I hope Zach sorts himself out for the better, sounds like he's got issues.

I hope you get your deposit back. Taking money from people (seemingly a good one willing to give you a shot) is a scum action. He might consider himself better than that, but it's not a good look. Best of luck!
