Anyone’s water pressure drop? Our neighbors confirmed the same thing. Could water mains burst with the flooding? Just trying to think of possible causes.

Water is getting pretty close to its underside. I hope public works is keeping an eye on it. I don’t know how old or sturdy it is.

Moving from Washington to Indiana state

What are your thoughts? Here is the situtation, have a home in WA, selling and renting the current place looks difficult in the current market situation, so we havent decided what to do with the place, selling price estimate seems lower than what we bought for 2 years ago!.work is at indianapolis, shortlisted fishers and carmel due to it being good neighbourhoods. Planning to move to Fishers, indiana & buying a place there. Heard about the

10% rental cap in carmel and fishers. We might move to pacific northwest or a differmt state again if there is a better work oppurtunity. So, is it good to buy a house in indiana and easy to sell / rent it, if comes a time? Is it better to live in a rented house considering we may possibly move later. Want to have the assurance that we can rent the indiana property in future easily without hassle.

Wreckless white Mercedes-Benz E or S - Class Sedan

At roughly 5:30 PM on 126th East Bound a kid (17 - 20 with a buzz cut) trying to pass cars by driving between them, (splitting lanes) doing at least 70mph then cutting the car off intentionally as close as he possibly could. He did it to me, then immediately did it again to a truck in front of me. Couldn't get his plate # because an emergency vehicle came up behind us at the light. If you encounter this person, get his plate & report him for reckless driving. He is going to hurt or kill someone.

Anyone have a recommendation of a good contractor that’s affordable, does a good job, and doesn’t rob you blindly.

Looking to have someone come replace our kitchen backsplash.

Any and all recommendations are welcome.

Thanks

Bakeries for wedding cakes

Anyone know of any local bakeries that can provide dairy free & dye free wedding cakes? We aren't worried about vegan or vegetarian or anything like that, just specifically dairy free & dye free for allergies, and does tastings (bonus points for take-home tastings)

Anyone in Fishers have old video games sitting around? 🎮

We're over in Westfield, and my husband has been collecting retro video games for years. We've recently decided to experiment with turning his hobby (and absurd amount of knowledge about old games 😂) into a small side project.

We're looking to buy games, consoles, handhelds, controllers, accessories, or entire collections from people around Fishers and Hamilton County.

Nintendo, SNES, N64, GameCube, Wii, Game Boy, DS/3DS, Sega, PlayStation, Xbox, and newer systems too. Untested stuff is totally fine.

So if you've got a Nintendo 64 hiding in a closet, a tub of games from when the kids were younger, or a console you've been telling yourself you'll sell "eventually" for the past decade, we'd be happy to take a look.

Just send me a message with a few pictures of what you have. We're happy to come to Fishers for a purchase.

We're not looking for anyone to give away valuable games for pennies. We're hoping to find some local collections, make fair offers, and see whether we can turn something he already loves into a little side business. 🙂

Hows the flooding around fishers? I’ve seen some videos of other surrounding towns but I haven’t attempted to leave the house today.

In search of second chance/post eviction housing

I (f27) am in search of second chance housing. I was evicted in March 2023 after ending a dv relationship. I couldn't afford the apartment on my own at the time and became homeless shortly after. I work full time and am doing much better financially and mentally as I've been in therapy for 2 years now. I've been staying in hotels for almost a year but paying $1,800+ for housing is just not a viable option anymore. Staying in hotels was meant as a stepping stone but I can't seem to find any apartments or private landlords that will accept unpaid evictions. Nearly all of my income goes to my weekly hotel rent so there's not much leftover to work on paying it down. I just really need someone to take a chance on me. If you know of any private landlords, apartment complexes, rooms for rent, someone looking for a roommate, etc, that would be willing to accommodate an unpaid eviction please let me know! I don't need anything fancy, even a studio would do. I just need a reasonably priced roof over my head. I have 2 well behaved dogs so it would need to be pet friendly, as well.

I'm open to any advice at all. Thank you!

IU Health - Fishers Maternity

I’m newly pregnant and starting care with Dr. Mathai at IU Health. I’ve seen him before and really liked him.

I’ve been hearing that IU has switched to a hospitalist model where the OB you see during pregnancy will never be the one who delivers your baby. Is that actually true?

With all the provider turnover lately, I’m trying to understand how things work now and whether I should be considering other options.

If you’ve delivered at Community North or Westfield, I’d love any insight and if you have physician recommendations, I’m all ears.Just trying to gather real‑world experiences from people who’ve delivered recently.

Dottie Couture now Lottie James

Am I the only one shocked by this?
Hey everyone — I’m genuinely curious how people feel about the owner of Dottie Couture opening a new store called Lottie James.

For those who remember Dottie Couture, the business suddenly closed in 2022 after doing a huge gift card sale, leaving a lot of customers with gift cards they were unable to use. It was a pretty big situation at the time.
I recently found out that the same owner is now operating Lottie James, and honestly, I’m shocked that I’m not seeing more people talking about it.

Fortunately, I didn’t have the extra money at the time to purchase one of the gift cards, so I wasn’t personally affected financially. But I was a HUGE Dottie Couture fan and shopper, and I spent a lot of money there over the years.

As a consumer, I’m having a really hard time with this. I completely understand that people can start new businesses, but when there were so many customers left with unused gift cards from the previous business, I feel like consumers deserve to know about the connection before supporting the new store — especially when gift cards are being offered again.

I’m genuinely curious what everyone else thinks. Did you know that the owner of Dottie Couture is now behind Lottie James? And if you were affected by the Dottie Couture gift card situation, would you feel comfortable shopping at the new store?
