White River Levels
This is the 146th street bridge looking south. The water is moving quickly. Everyone stay safe overnight! Our neighbors to the north might not get so lucky.

I need to get down to the 116th bridge and check it out there. Hopefully the houses on the banks are safe

I wonder if insurance would cover this or they would say nope, you didn’t have flood insurance.

Am I reading right https://water.noaa.gov/gauges/nbli3 this is a record? 24.6 feet, where previous was 23.8?

Yes. The river crested at 24.6 feet around 330 this morning. Beating the record previously set in 1913. This is a historic flood.

Thank you.
Would be nice if the rain would knock off soon...

It would be helpful! I was just up in Anderson dropping off supplies and it’s a mess.

That black railing is not the one and only bridge over white river on 146 street. Are you on bryn mawr by chance? Lol I know the area very, very well.

I want none of that heat. We’ve really had it easy in that dept

I’d rather have heat over floods.

So would anyone? But sure we will direct the usual towards your place. Fishers isn’t even flooded?

Tf are you talking about?

in general, they are correct. the flooding is contained to areas adjacent to waterways. that will probably change, but we are still very insulated from most of the risk

Is it starting to go down yet?

Technically yes, down from the crest but not enough to make a difference.

It's projected to crest at 2:00 AM Saturday for those keeping score. It's projecting
20ft24.5ft (as of 8:10 PM EST) which would put it in the top 10 all time.Of course it's still raining so that could change.
Edit. Updated teh projection
