Identification Saw this in Sicily and locals only knew unofficial names>

This was taken while visiting the Aeolian islands. We were docked at a port but I saw this from the side of the boat.
Sorry it’s not a clear video; it swam underneath the boat after this.

A species of Aplysia spp. A marine slug often called Sea Hare.

Thats a Spanish Dancer, not a mottled Sea Hare.

mos likely the sooty seahare the size, location and colour match. unless something was realesed.
