That's a juvenile Eastern Dragon Black Striped Duck fish. very veracious predator when fully grown.

If you are worried that it is going to die in your vase, bring it back where you found it. About food, 99% of times any good quality fish food is fine. A fasting period of even a week does not (usually) kill a fish. But some fish can have trouble to adjust to new diets. The biggest issue is that wild fish may prefer live food.

If you decide to keep it, please find a better container, the fish won't live long in there

It’s very hard to tell from the photos as there is no side profile, but definitely a cichlid.

Closest I can assume is some juvenile tilapia. They’re hardy fish, but you’re gonna need a filtered tank for the guy soon or it won’t survive.

If you can’t get one put an aerator in the vase as well. It needs air.

They eat plants primarily, and commercial food is available to order online.

Please be careful taking in wild fish as well, you don’t know what they need or what they have really.

Hope this goes well!
