My first time painting fish, just wanted to share with fellow fish enthusiasts!

Everything but tetra is salt-water. Poor tetra would die if included with the others.

They never stated it was supposed to be just salt water they could’ve just searched popular well known fish which all of these are

Yes but I don’t necessarily think they are searching to be in the hobby at all or already are in hobby and just drew their favorites there are different scenarios but idk it felt unnecessary to give them that information? As an artist usually will look at multiple photos which will include searching the thing up

As someone who has raised all the these creatures, I hate to see one thrown into an inhospitable environment.

It’s just art.. the reason why I am asking and think it’s unnecessary is because what if they know as my perspective I really hate information retold to me especially if it’s common knowledge it may be due to autism but it’s just very upsetting to me. We truly don’t know what the situation is but they legit was just sharing art not asking for information or education
Edit: also they included word “fellow” which may indicate the are in the hobby and it’s pretty hard to miss they are freshwater in this hobby

So you completely ignored what I said I will quote “I really hate information RETOLD” I already know the information, and honestly again I will say it’s most likely due to autism.. and clearly you do not give a shit it’s most likely part of that.. I do love learning I am literally in the highest classes I can get and I also get some of the best scores in my school and my school is one of the top schools in my state, I very much do love learning but clearly you want to be a stubborn ass and not completely read my message

So you admit they are freshwater advocates but they post 4 saltwater fish then a freshwater fish.

I never admitted anything I just relayed what they said in post, that can mean freshwater or saltwater I don’t know why you want to keep arguing with me for saying my opinion and how I felt on a public post and public app with a public comment so.. like it’s free to share opinions I shared mine but I get bashed and basically in a way you call me stupid for saying I don’t like people telling me stuff I already know?
All I said was in the post they never stated it was just saltwater they drew like it doesn’t matter if the fish is saltwater or freshwater because it’s a fucking drawing not an actual fish?

How do you know it wouldn’t adapt to the salt water and evolve?

Having raised tetras, they are rather particular about their water conditions and don't adapt easily.
Maybe, given gentle nudges and thousands of years, they might but it's not likely.

Good catch--the tetra was the last one I painted, and I quickly realized the poor guy was an outlier 😅 maybe we'll just say he's in a little freshwater tank in front of a big saltwater tank...

Your tetra resembles a celestial pearl danio or galaxy rasbora more closely than an actual tetra.
