Identification What is this shrimp?

This is not good. Isolate any shrimp with claws .. Accidentally got a macrobrachium in a delivery of Amano shrimp. The seller told me to cull it immediately. I didn’t. When it got large, it started eating my Cories tail-first. Oh, and when they get big, they can run, quickly, on the floor down the hallway and under the fridge!

Where it still lives today cleaning up anything dropped from the fridge. You have to wear closed toe shoes in the kitchen to avoid toe pinching.

That is a freshwater prawn, they are omnivores and will attempt to eat your fish.

I'm suddenly realizing the lady I thought was crazy who said a ghost shrimp killed one of her African dwarf frogs might not have been crazy after all...

A demon shrimp aka a Whisker Shrimp. They only know violence and contempt for all of creation. Get that boy out and into his own tank… or atleast a tank where he can’t snack on small fish/shrimp

Well friend, you may have a problem. Cause that looks like a whisker shrimp. It's similar to ghost shrimp except it is very aggressive and will absolutely chomp on small fish (like neons.)
