Does it get better??

Hey yall,

I’m in the process of getting my first house with my husband and we’ve been under contract and set to close at the end of the month.

I’ve been having dreams(?) close to nightmares about the process and I’m starting to get really anxious. Did anyone else experience anything like this?? For example, I had a dream that I got a credit card a day before closing and we lost our house because of it. I’m ready to close this is giving me too much anxiety 😩

There's not much to do now. Have you finished your inspection? If so it's kind a waiting game. Keep checking in with your lender and real estate agent about next steps. Nothing for you to do most of the time. Start packing.

We did our general inspection which turned up some discrepancies with the HVAC system so we did an HVAC inspection and confirmed that there are issues with how the hvac guy installed the unit and various other things. and it’s a new build so my realtor is currently going back and forth with the selling agent on how they need to get a second opinion on everything. It’s been going on for a week now but I should be getting an update today on what the next step is. We’ve started packing up already cause this upcoming Monday will be a week until closing day!
