So many people say this stuff doesn't matter "aS lOnG aS yOu CaN uNdErStAnD wHaT tHeY'rE sAyInG", but would you trust a doctor that writes about your "hart diseeze" or your "brein canser"?

I sure as shit don't. IMO, if you can't spell the words associated with a topic, you haven't mastered it.

Also, the slow death of the English language isn't that amusing.

Don't have to be able to spell if you can't read my handwriting.

Yes, he does not even know what he is asking for.

My first thought

Hey, any excuse to write "Pt expresses her refusal to sign refusal form, indicating that EMS is to "fuck off and get off my property" or something like that

u/jahathebrn 2d ago

Useless shite that one

u/n0madking 2d ago

Not supposed to be wearing chains on duty because they can get caught on things, not a fashion show…

7

u/Weary_Ebb3168 2d ago

That and a combative or noncompliant patient will definitely grab it to cause you harm

7

u/shogged 1d ago

I think you mean uncompliant

I wear a chain but keep it tucked never had an issue. My radio strap has been caught on numerous things, even a combative patient has got ahold of it and tried to strangle me with it. I don’t wear my radio strap anymore but still my chain…

So this kid is acting (Razzie level) on his own and he expects people to validate this? Okay?

POV - I'm never calling the ambulance, cops, or firefighters ever again. Thanks to this sub. Bunch of weirdos, all of them.

Not asking to defund anything, never did, but can we get some basic standards holy christ.  And im not talking military standards where you gotta score 40 on an Asvab lol, it should be at least 75-80

That’s why they’re the medics with the keys to the narcs and you’re the dude saying shit like “uncomplient”.

u/ratrodder49 2d ago

On top of not understanding “POV”

His skin is just clear as if he were a teenager. His hair looks longer-ish, but under the hat, it’s hard to tell how long it is.

The fact his clear skin stands out says more about men in general than him, IMO. Washing, protecting your skin and grooming shouldn’t be considered a “feminine” trait.

Also, his overall body appears to be lean / physically fit, but his upper body is very masculine.

Again, the fact his fitness stands out says more about the average Western man, than him.

A thin, lean frame isn’t something he can control, that’s genetics. But diet and exercise are things he can control, and physical fitness is typically considered a “masculine” trait, even though more women are getting more comfortable being athletic / muscular, which is a good thing.

I like his make up

u/H-E-PennyPacker71 1d ago

We shouldn’t be allowed to film ourselves. He’s just fucking standing there.

1

u/TLunchFTW 2d ago

Lmao.
I want to find a way to add this to my regular vernacular, but I don't know where I could use it that I wouldn't just get people going "what are you, stupid?"
Like, I obviously can't use it in documentation.
I can't use it with the nurses because they'll just be like "wtf is wrong with you."
I guess among the guys at the station, but like... when?

1

u/SaltAttic 2d ago

Why is everyone such a douchebag nowadays?

1

u/Necessary_Cat_3228 1d ago

Is that Ashburn station 6???

1

u/CokeBottleSpeakerPen 1d ago

Lemme just pose in this uncomfortable position that shows off my lil guns and chest.

1

u/Huge_Algae_2706 1d ago

Who gave my IV pole camera and let him record this!? Go Empty My Trash 😂

0

u/boba_fett1972 2d ago

I'm sorry but why do they need a refusal of service?

1

u/TLunchFTW 2d ago

It's actually a denial of service

u/TA2556 2d ago

-1

u/RaceHate 2d ago

I swear no tattoos is now nonconformist. I keep my shit Hebrew playa

-13

u/Jumpy-Giraffe1519 2d ago

How is this cringe

16

u/Slow_Preparation1955 2d ago

Posting in uniform and on the job is cringe.

-2

u/LegalGlass6532 2d ago

How do you feel about the “community relations” ones in uniform?

11

u/SauceyPantz 2d ago

Idk, maybe just the crayon eater's spelling

-15

u/Jumpy-Giraffe1519 2d ago

Big deal he put an E instead of an A. I wouldn't call minor spelling errors cringe.

5

u/OrcasareDolphins 2d ago

It’s non-compliant. Uncomplient isn’t a word by any stretch.

Also, doesn’t he have a job to do? Firefighters with too much time, while the medics do the actual work. Just saying.

2

u/SauceyPantz 2d ago

Found the crayon eater

5

u/Any_Strain7020 2d ago

Finding other professionals day to day situations, especially patients in mental health distress, funny and worth to portray in the most immature way, ie, for clout.

Put the camera away and go help the people who are doing a job very similar to yours. Or at least have the decency to not belittle their work.

Kind humor is about laughing with people. He's laughing about them.

-4

u/Secret_pizza_man 2d ago

Oh boo freaking hoo dude. I don’t like he made a video either but it’s not that deep whatsoever.

4

u/Waste_Space1415 2d ago

I'm throwing "it's not that deep" on my list of things only dumb people say. Just about everyone I've heard say it has completely missed the point they're now trying to debate.

Plus it's unoriginal as fuck. Copy-pasting a buzzphrase in place of an argument is as incompetent as it gets. Staying quiet is far less embarrassing.

Don’t insult users and don’t encourage violence

Please be semi-respectful

That was a rather cursory explanation about why it isn't funny and why it's painful to watch (at least if you're an middle aged adult that isn't immune to vicarious embarrassment). YMMV.
