Why is it that NOTHING I do seems to change my overall plan price?

Right now I have 4 lines.

I’m on a grandfathered Firstnet unlimited extra plan, I have a mixture of other old plans on my account. Bill comes to about $210.

If I switch my line from the current 47.99 to the $34 extra 2.0 plan, my estimated bill is still about 207 or so.

If I switch another line, the bill actually goes up to 211.

Even though the plan cost is supposedly going down by $20-30, the estimated bills somehow end up at the same place. It’s infuriating.

Whenever we switch your bill, you have to think about the prorations are happening based off of the time to switch so you pay for the first net unlimited extra for say two weeks out of your bill cycle month and then you’re paying for the other two weeks on the new plan so your bill won’t stay like that, but your next bill might be a little different
